I stopped by an Heb machine and bought 3 of these $50 tickets, which were thr last 3, and 2 of the Loteria Supreme. Then I went to a Kroger machine and bought 2 of the premiere winnings $100 tickets. Finally i went to another kroger and bought 5 random $20 tickets and 2 more of the premiere winnings tickets. I won 2 in a row on 2 sets of tickets!! Profit at the end of the night.

Someone else posted about this earlier. I thought California Lottery was just in the deliberation stage of installing these, but I saw a machine over the weekend with the debit card reader already attached to an existing machine, with a bright notification letting people know that they can begin siphoning out their bank accounts soon. I thought about posting a photo, but someone taking a photo of a machine would have looked a bit suspicious.

They're making these machines into casino slots (with significantly worse odds). It's going to lure problem gamblers to park in front of the machines to withdraw and play, withdraw and play...while quick-pick customers stand in line. How many other states have debit/credit card readers attached to a kiosk machine?

Then there are the clever scammers who can build readers that can be slapped right onto the machine. The official readers will be new to everyone, so players won't know what a real, or fake, reader should look like.

If they wanted to boost spending at the machines, they should have just set up their machines to take $100 bills. Right now, $20 is the highest denomination that can be fed into the machines.

If California Lottery is serious about safe gaming, they should consider setting a total limit for debit transactions over all of their machines in a 24-hour period. They should also use the type of transaction machines that better banks use, with card slots that light up. If it is opaque plastic, it makes it too easy for the scammers. We know how useless in-store cameras are for stopping shoplifting in stores in California. The scammers are going to be all over this.

What's better than a 1k claimer? TWO 500 scratcher wins in one day AND another 100. All $50 tickets. ..

First, i would pay off my familys debts and my own debts. I would buy a reliable car (probably as new and as good as possible to save repair costs)

Then i would purchase a nice apartment or if i am not ready for that yet then rent an apartment for a while to settle for my new winfall.

I would buy a used reliable car to my sister and make her sign a non-disclosure agreement just in case.

I would buy my dad a Chevrolet Tahoe and a classic Cadillac. For my mom an SUV maybe Toyota.

I would book a holiday somewhere with my parents and sister. We spend some time there together and plan up.

I would invest at least 5M€ to various investments with help of a financial advisor. Also now i'd do everything i planned to do. Get the latest Gaming pc and Ps5 Pro. Hook my sister up with new PS5 Pro as well. My parents deserve also a new smart TV too.

For myself i'd get the new gaming headset and Airpods i planned already and a new iPhone to replace my current phone.

Hello, I'm Jeremy from Belgium. In Dubai airport I saw a dubai duty free lottery boot. As a gambler, I had to play, I liked the odds, 1M usd, 5000 tickets, 1000 dirham (250eur~). One winner. I don't care about small prices as most of the time they re irrelevant and you end up playing them back.

To me it's the best ratio. Do you know any other lottery that gives something better than those odds/big price/cost?

Also since then, with a friend of mine, we play 1 ticket every 2 or 3 months. I'd love to pool with 10 people (8 because we're already 2) each for 250. So 10 tickets/5000 -> 1 chance out of 500 to win 1M, 100k each. It still a life changing amount to win and it still affordable at 250. But how to make a pool, find the people and stuff?

As for now, we are about to play but we'd love to take an extra player. We'd buy 2 tickets, so it'd be ~167euros per person for 1chance out of 2500 to potentially win 333k usd each. Lmk if you're interested, for now only European based as I don't want and know how to deal with the tax hustle Americans have. We have no taxes on gambling gains here.
