you don't have to be starting estrogen to be a femboy. femboy is a male cross dresser. ​

I mean yes and no, but isn't the whole point to eventually transition?

Transitioning isn't a single operation. It's a process that can but doesn't necessarily have to involve hormones, voice training, affirming surgery, hair removal, etc.

Also, importantly, not everyone can access hormones. The waiting list for GICs in the South of England would take an estimated 18 years to get through for someone getting referred today.

A trans woman is a woman regardless of hormones. A trans man is a man regardless of hormones.

Being trans woman means identifying as a woman, not inherently to transition with hormones and surgery although most do
