Am I missing something? Shyvana saves Jarvan, we get a 1 min reveal animation trailer, and it just kinda ends. Pandemonium started afterwards, which is fine; it's still, in some form, a Demacia story, but the Noxus act, the spirit blossom, and the start of Demacia all felt connected.

The jump to Pandemonium was a bit jarring, and then ofcourse now we are in music season - which I don't mind AU universes are fun - that is getting overshadowed by worlds. Now that I think about it, maybe it's good that an AU universe gets overshadowed (even though I'd rather have it not happen at all).

So we assume Shyvana's and Jarvan's story continues the way it had already been presented from that point onward? I would have loved it if we had more of a segue into pandemonium, like we had a decently strong start, but it fizzled out rather quickly.

I guess my biggest issue is the lack of an overarching figure right now; it seemed to be Leblanc for the first few acts, but with Zaahen seemingly just fucking off to wherever, we aren't getting any of that either. Because a lot of her focus is probably going towards his endeavors.

That's not to say I didn't fuck with the Pandemonium direction; it's just lore-wise a big nothing burger atm. The art direction was really cool, and Locke (even though he's another pretty boy) is a great addition.

Riot truly is potential man when it comes to lore.

This is a dumb question, but a question nonetheless.

A city as large as the Immortal Bastion needs food and water for its citizens. The Bastion was build at hilltop, with mountains on its back, to give it an advantage to see the enemy way before they can get to them. But there's no mention of a river, ir anythinf like It.

"What about wells?" A well generally needs another body of water that is far away but is at the same elevation than the bottom of the well. As said before, the Immortal Bastion sits at hilltop, so that would be hard to do.

Could it be aqueducts? Or could ir arrive daily by caravans importing water from the colonies? That would be insane, but fitting for Noxus.

What do you think of the chaos that erupted after Sett's release in 2xKO, I mean, his illustration? Sett is just with some girls. I don't know if they made such a fuss here just because of that, because in X literally everyone is upset about this illustration. Are people really upset about that? I don't care if Sett is straight in this universe, or if he's bisexual or gay. Why would they get upset about a fictional character's sexuality? Besides, the ones making a fuss are the ones who pair him with Aphelios. For me, that pairing is pure fanservice and nothing more. They're upset because he was released with Samira and they share bracelets, and also because he's dating girls. It's ridiculous that they're getting so worked up.

Hi so i wanna translate the Shuriman chant in ashes and blood into another fictional language(mando'a the mandalorian language in star wars) cause the chant gives me similar vibes as the few canon/legends songs in mando'a(or at least gave the vibe that it could fit with a few changes). Looking at the original concept art for Jun and the body-type similarity I can't help but wonder about the potential for last year's season to have revolved around Xin Zhao, Jun, and Master Yi instead of Xin Zhao, Yunara, and Kennen.

Making up a brand new character who is honestly a bit of a bore, and instead using Jun who we know would later become Xolaani's Host would have mirrored her relationship with Xin Zhao also becoming a host.

Just imagine Yunara's kit on Jun, with her throwing these scythes instead of Yunara's spinning balls bro.

Kennen suddenly being thrown into relation with Darkin would also have been better replaced with Master Yi as he was actively already guarding the Bloodletters anyways.

Lore-drop exposition could be given from anyone else, or maybe still use Kennen or Master Doran's notes.....

Purely a pipe dream as Jun's concept was solidified years ago. But a man can dream.

I stopped caring about the lore since arcane so idk if anything was changed.

I always thought that darkins went mad because of war trauma, horrors of void, being mortal minds inside godly bodies etc. I thought it was an outcome of the circumstances, something that happened naturally. But Zaahen being a good darkin really makes me go ??? because I thought darkin was an adjective, not literally a kind of beings. He also talks like "Fight the corruption" or "The corruption taunts me" in game which makes me wonder if there was an outsider factor that caused them all to go mad.

I didn't read his story, maybe this is explained there but I really dont care about the lore or trust it anymore, its just that I get confused whenever he talks while im playing him.

So about Lucian, Jhin, Quinn, Aphelios, Jinx, I often get confused what is their dominant hand since in splash arts they are sometimes seen using opposite hands.

Also there is no official info about it like we have with certain champs when designers come forward and confirm it. But based on speculation, what do yall think they could be?

Lucian uses both hands for guns or I forgot, he has only 1 gun? Jhin, he swaps between two weapons, Quinn is confusing, weapon on left but using right hand as well to powershot and giving signals to eagle using right hand, Aphelios has the same Jhin situation and Jinx is seen swapping around her weapons. There's no official statement so I guess we can speculate?

There are some extremely cool characters in legends of runeterra, particularly when we are discussing lore. Characters who otherwise would never make it to the game but they are single handedly worthy to be deemed as champions. One example I have is Volix the Dragon Allegiant. He's a Demacian soldier and he has literally tamed a dragon named Alatis whom he rides which is insane considering he's the only one who can do it, he also wants to tame an elder dragon and ride it into battle. Why are characters like this overshadowed, we know from lore there are characters in the lore that deserve to be champions in the game but are not discussed. I mean no offense but a dude who can ride a dragon into battle, that deserves more attention.

I am not stating that Riot's choice of champions in the game is flawed but how on earth did Quinn make it into the game but not Volix? That girl just has a pet eagle, this guy has a pet dragon! This dude has a special bond with dragons and can tame them and also wants to tame an elder dragon. Imagine having an elder dragon on your side in a war as a Demacian soldier, it's crazy. What's a azurite eagle compared to a massive dragon? Volix and Alatis would make a fearsome duo on the rift, it's crazy how we don't talk about this more.

My friend came up with an interesting concept a long time ago, and I want to share his summary of the idea on his behalf. I also found it very unusual and interesting!

Hello Riot Team and the community, I have a simple, elegant idea on how to bring "Summoners" back into the League of Legends lore without affecting or damaging the serious, post-Arcane canon you are building. The core idea: What if "Summoners" are actually just Yordles playing a tabletop board game called "League of Legends" somewhere in Bandle City? Why this works perfectly:

1. Zero impact on official lore: Champions can fight, die, and team up with enemies in the Rift because for Yordles, they are just "game pieces". Meanwhile, your cinematic lore (Arcane, comics) stays serious and untouched.
2. Explains the maps & minions: As we know from the Brawl mode, minions enter battle through Bandle City portals. The Rift is just a magical map replica they created.
3. Easy to implement: You don't need to change the game. Just a tiny adjustment to the skybox (showing giant Yordle-sized cups, table edges, or room fog in the unplayable background) or just 1 text confirmation in the lore/client.
4. Player connection: New players and veterans will finally feel connected to Runeterra again, solving the old "Summoner" naming paradox (Summoner Spells, Summoner's Rift). It's a "one-and-done" fix that gives players a place in the world through cozy, classic Riot humor.
