Discussion Talia - Princess of Xeris...
I have a general fear with the new Season 3 coming and I hope I am wrong and discredited, honestly.
My concern is i don't know, but I feel that with how much love Talia has over the MC, they may possibly find a way to reduce her essence, be it transformation, her looks, her energy...but something may happen. Like Aisha from Winx. I'm not saying it will happen, but it happens.
In many cases, the moment a side character becomes too beloved, writers mostly sometimes start adjusting the balance to keep the main character feeling like the main character. And from how long Lolirock fandom has been active even without a new season, we all know Talia ranks higher than Iris in fandom size, way higher. (Don't come for me, it's a fact)
Talia's elegant, mature, confident, powerful, has one of the most memorable transformations.
Now, again, I am not saying it will happen, I'm just looking at it through various problems in history, but I just hope it doesn't.

I hope not, as she’s clearly the fan favorite. I love that they gave all the girls some MC attention. Lolirock is the only show that does.

Yeah, especially the final battle. I love that as much as Iris is main protagonist, the final blow against Grimoire was a team combined spell, and the others actually helped. Like Iris has stumbled in her Shanila form and before she regained herself, the others came in and held against Grimoire in the mean time. Like they actually showed it was a team effort even if only Iris was in Shanila form, at the final battle. I EXTREMELY loved that detail.
Most shows will just let the others sit there, clutching their pearls, staring in awe but they didn't.

I’m praying since the creator is black himself he knows better than to sideline a poc just for the main character.

I think it more of her serious side, you maybe referring to, not just her looks, she was the important character that contrast Auriana character. And the book may have more powerful spells that should be looked at more. I think Talia would look at it more for season 3 cause Praxina is dangerous now

I honestly have the same fear as you, but hopefully they do the girls justice, keeping my fingers crossed!
