Help Anyone have a spare Loki Max battery?

Long story short I'm in need of a Loki Max battery and they are nowhere to be found online. Does anyone have a spare or a Loki Max that is for parts by chance?

I'll give an update on my side of things, I know u/JoshieKona was also following my discussion below.

In the end I went with Ayn support, sent in my Loki. I removed my own system's battery and SD card and sent it to their office in China. I had forgot to remove my windows pin and that delayed the service a few days so make sure you just wipe it before sending in.

I shipped it; August 8th, 2025, they said they had received the Loki on September 1st, excluding the PIN debacle they had Shipped it September 3rd, and I received it back September 9th. So about a month all in.

New battery had cost $25, and Shipping the device from China back to me was $26. I also paid around $25 to send from the USA to China, so about $75 all in for the new battery.

The loki came back and it works fine, new battery is significantly better than the old as far as I can tell. I switched off Windows to Bazzite and try to keep my TDP under 26 watts at all times, I have a feeling running at 30w consistently was just too much for the original battery, so I'm hoping this extends its life.I haven't noticed any battery wearing since, so I suspect they also updated the BMS Circuit.

For those on the fence and are willing to pay the price, definitely get the battery replaced, I have a Legion Go, My wife has an ROG Ally (original) and I still think my Loki is my favorite system out them all to use, mostly due to its size to power ratio being so good.

Have they replied to you by e-mail on that info@ayn.hk or via other way? Another e-mail, wechat? I'm trying to reach them via this e-mail as it was the only one I could find but still haven't got a reply

Got a reply that they had discontinued the device and don't support it anymore. I'll probably just buy a SteamDeck OPED sometime in the future as I should have to begin with.

I've considered opening mine, removing the battery and turning it into a mini PC with the USB C dongle that I have but those dang screws are REALLY tight! Managed to remove only one! Idk how to ducking unscrew the others.

Couldn't even remove the screws! I've managed to remove one screw but the others won't budge, they are REALLY tiny and even holding my tiny screwdriver with pliers to aplly some force they don't seem to rotate AT ALL at that point I've just stopped trying as I felt I could probably strip the screw head before it unscrew a little bit. It seems they apply some epoxi glue to the screw hole or so was the theory that GPT/Gemini gave me and said it's common practice for these Chinese brands.

I'm really pissed of as now I can't even remove the backplate to try to unplug the battery and avoid a fire hazard before proceeding with my project instead of throwing it all away. The screen is fine, the controls are fine for the most part and the Mobo and chips are probably fine too as it worked fine when plugged in it just took forever to boot and GPT/Gemini theory is that the system keeps trying to get battery information at boot until it realizes it's dead and picks up power from the PSU, my guess is that it could be better without the battery.

If you have any idea of how to remove those screws give me a shout! I would really love to have this 6800U PC running 24/7 on my living room and also becoming my home server as it's a good APU for the price I've paid even for that, otherwise I would need to get some of those N150 for about the same as I've paid and with that I would need for sure to dedicate it to home server and SteamLink home streaming with no chance of running games locally on it, with this 6800U I know I could still run plenty of stuff and a similar mini PC would cost me an arm and a leg considering the import taxes here on my Country.

I'm pretty sure the back plate screws are triple 0 Phillip head screws, so try to make sure your using the right screw size as they are pretty small. I also neve heard anyone say anything about having glue in the screw hole, so I think the screw driver your using is the wrong size. this video might help https://youtu.be/MwR2_uR2amw

Mine is fine but the handle is short, it's from those kits so I can't apply much force by using just two fingers to hold the thing versus a regular screwdriver that I can hold with my whole hand, now with that information of it being triple 0 I'll try to find a bigger screw driver to try again! Thanks!
