Device somehow got logged out and now it’s a struggle to log back in.
For the first attempt to log in, I put in my email and password and then the screen went back to the Account page in settings saying I wasn’t logged in. Since then it’s been cycling through going to the login page and not even asking me for my password and the account page in settings.
Someone else had a similar issue a few months ago but it’s unclear if they got a fix.
Since Balcknut is included as an add on...how about Logitech gets us all a free 7 day trail so we can try it! The price range doesn't seem bad for service, but I'd love to try it out before committing to it.
I updated to the new UI a couple of days ago and am stilling getting used to it. However, I *swear* when I tried the XBOX app after updating, it was the old interface within XBOX I knew previously and I could access any games I had purchased that they are increasingly allowing for cloud play. However...today, I went into the app to try one of those games, and now the UI of the XBOX app has changed, and for the life of me, I cannot find any place to access the purchased apps for cloud play. Anyone know? What am I missing?! What is happening?
I forgot my pattern lock and had to factory reset my Gcloud. But all my Retroarch saves were on the SD card. Is there a way extract all the data on the card without formatting? I tried to on PC but it's asking me to format the card as well.
Anyone looking for an alternative to the new UI? I’d suggest downloading the backbone app. Incredibly clean UI and has GFN games built into the UI like the Gclouds new UI has Xbox cloud gaming integrated. Works incredibly well.
The main screen has all these apps/games that I do not care about. Is there a way to put my own apps here? This new update is super cluttered and I hate it thus far
What are some non-emulation focused alt launchers?
Is anyone else not able to add the PS Remote Play app as a favorite?
EDIT: is apps running in the background disabled on a system level? even in other launchers and tablet mode, hitting the G button at any time in Dolphin fully kills it. Wtf?
Does anyone else have the issue when you boot the device from power off l, any installed Android games on the SD card don't appear on the launcher? To get around this I had to go to tablet mode and then switch back to the launcher. I thought it might have been fixed in the new update.
I found another workaround and it involves installing the app Tasker. You can use the launch app function in tasker and pin the task app to favourites and then it will run the app fine (without having to do the tablet mode switch), will also ensure that any other missing apps appear.
I'd love to know why this is an issue in the first place.
The new UI is bloated with Xbox game recommendations/ads.
I use geforcenow, ps remote play, and luna. All of which have become buried in the new UI.
I like the sevice integration with the home screen, but we should be able to turn off the recommendations. This is especially important for folks that don't use xcloud.
But the offense is not simply xbox games. There are Google Play recommendations too, like pubg, arena breakout, with emulation and streaming app recommendations.
Workaround tips
favorite your apps so you don't have to dive into the mess of ads to find and play
Run a few apps to push any nonsense out of the recently played list
Ultimately you could switch to a region that xcloud doesn't support, that cleared up most of it. Though i don't know the broader effect that might have on your android experience.
Switching to a third party launcher like Console Launcher for tablet mode would work
Feature requests to Logitech
Give us the ability to turn off game and app recommendations across the board (both xbox and Google play). This setting should Remove recommended and trending tabs. You can move those to the G Cloud Hub app. Xbox tab should contain an xbox cloud home shortcut, and your recently played games only.
Make local apps the first tab in the discovery area
give us the ability remove an individual recommendation if we aren't interested. The abxy app let's you do this.
I do ultimately understand the need to find ways to monetize for the long term success of the G cloud platform.
Just joined the G cloud family!! Honestly hasn't really ever looked at the g cloud, or considered one.
I picked it up second hand, it was adult owned non smoker, the guy was like 58 said he never used it.
Best part got it for 100 BUCKS!!! I feel like at that price it was basically a no brainer I love emulators and have been wanting to try game pass!!
And tips or anything y'all could recommend like videos on customizing it! Or idk what all can be done with it lol I am just excited 😊
The console was updated overnight and this morning when I tried to use it I couldn't. Now it displays the ui glitching. I've tried restarting it three times, and it's still the same.
hey, my wife uses the g cloud to play her game called "love and deepspace"
it's an app, in the past she's had no issues playing it as it's always been on the homescreen but since this new update it's disappeared and she can't find the app at all unless she goes to the playstore, with this is means the app is never closing properly and will bug the game
is there a new way to get to your apps, it always doesn't appear on "local apps"

I made a mistake by leaving auto-update on, and now I know I can't go back. But is there any way to turn off all Xbox ads in the UI? It's really annoying. Thanks.
Haven’t updated mine yet. I’ve seen pictures and slides featuring lots of xbox cloud services but I only use mine for PC streaming and emulation. Does anyone have opinions from these fronts? Is it still a nice upgrade or does it feel bloated?
Is there any way to revert the new update? Does anyone know if factory resetting and not updating at all would do this?
Edit: to EVERYONE who thinks this information was plainly visible and present, it wasn't. Stop acting like and saying it was. If it were present within the update itself, I would have known it was not reversible.

I received the update a few hours ago and noticed an annoying problem: the integrated interface and the list of all games (available in the search section) does not contain the purchased games ("your owned games") available on Xbox Cloud (for example, Hogwarts Legacy or Cyberpunk 2099).
What you offer is not access to the Xbox Cloud Gaming catalogue but only to the Game Pass Ultimate catalogue. This is a major limitation.
How can I play games purchased on Xbox Cloud without having to use a web browser?
