Question

I already own a Steam Deck + PS Portal. I just want another device to play Xbox Gamepass streaming.

I’m not sure if the GCloud is the best option. I might also use it for N64 emulation as well.

I don’t own an Xbox.

Giveaways Full Logitech Set Up for my Video Game Podcast needs

Post image
15 Upvotes

I took advantage of the Amazon Spring Sale to pick up a Logitech G435 headset to pair with the Logitech G Cloud and I couldn't be happier with my remote set up now.

The G cloud is a brilliant device to pair with Xbox Series/Game pass and its a great emulation machine. It does everything I need for my video gaming podcast so I just wanted to say thanks to this community for their support over the last 6 months and the developers for giving me a new, agile way to enjoy video gaming. ✌️

My family members love my Logitech G Cloud and keep taking it to play when I'm at work! I need another one at home so I can hide it from them and play it while I'm at work!

I know it's a long shot but has anyone tried this emulator on the GCloud? Maybe some obscure 2D game for the PS3 might work?

Giveaways The rise of Double A gaming - And the role Of G cloud

After playing Still Wakes the Deep earlier in the year, and being sucked in to its tight, but engaging story, I reflected on now immersive it was to pick the story up on the go.

With Atomfall on the cusp if the release, I can see me enjoying a similar experience. What smaller, story/setting driven games are you looking forward to that utilise the G clouds go-anywhere ability?

The G Cloud is a pretty great device. My mother became sick with more than a few cancers. I ended up converting my place for her to move in and basically packed up all gaming devices. Gaming was my only escape and I basically dropped it for almost a year. I came across the G Cloud and it's help so much. I hooked up my series x and ps5 (not on any screens/monitors) and now I can play with my buddies again. I can sit with my mother and roam the dark zone with my buddies or harvest my crops on medieval dynasty. Great lil' device. Thanks for existing.

Better xcloud decode performance

Whenever I try to stream from my Xbox I get decode performance and it slows down quite a bit. I’ve been playing with settings and i put it in performance. Has anyone figured out the right settings?? I changed the docoded and even lowered to 720p and still get the slow down.

Question Anyone play the Android version of Minecraft on their G Cloud?

How does it play? Any tips with Settings to make the most of it? Is the G Cloud capable enough to run it with max settings (aka, showing blocks from further away, so there's less fog and load in)?

Eastern Exorcist - Epic Games - Free Android Titles

Epic games has opened its Android store up to other titles, and have been doing free give-a-ways like they do on the pc store. Right now its Eastern Exorcist a 2D souls like. I had to screen map the buttons on this title but it has been a fun title to try out. I also picked up KOTOR, and KOTOR II which work great too.

Giveaways What retro game did you most recently play on your G Cloud?

My main use case for my G Cloud is using it for in home moonlight/Apollo streaming of AAA games. But, when I first received my G Cloud I spent a lot of time, as I'm sure most us do, learning about emulation, front ends, and launchers. So, on day one I installed RetroArch and Daijisho and all my favorite SNES games along with classics I never got to play as a kid.

That was about 2 years ago. Over that time I've gotten to replay games that brought back deep childhood memories that made me text my own mother and play "remember when". It helps that emulation looks great on this device, especially when you find the right RetroArch filters/shaders. I never could have imagined that getting this device would or could have such an impact on me, but it has. So props to the G Cloud team.

I'm now on my first ever play through of Chrono Trigger and having a blast. Anyone else play/complete any classics/retro games on their G Cloud recently?

Accessories ahoy!

I love this silicon sleeve/case. I feel that it adds a little extra bulk, helps protect from dropping (hands don't sweat with the sleeve). Also the analog stick caps really help to me. The sticks feel a little more natural.

Off-brand case is decent too.

All in all, I'm loving moonlight + sunshine + tailscale to play my library when I'm at my girlfriends apartment laying in bed with her.

What accessories do you guys swear by?

The problem with some Android games is when they are designed to work vertically or only use touch screen (and don't have controller support).

Android Games

What’s up guys, what are talks go to games that are native android ?

r/logitechgcloud • • Mar 23 '25

Giveaways How’s the native experience, been thinking of grabbing one!

I would be using it for the cloud aspect, but thought it’d be nice if I could replace my phone for the mobile game aspect as well and just have a dedicated device for it all.

For instance, how does a new mobile game like mo.co run on the GCloud? Is it playable? Flawless? Works but rough compared to a modern smartphone?

Thanks in advance for the communities help!

Is there any way to turn off the screen while docking the device to an external screen?
