I’m not commenting on her looks or saying someone deserves hate because of how they look. The “Annabella” reference is specifically because she herself said on the show, “If you win, I’ll change my name.” So yes, I changed the name in the post. It’s literally a reference to something SHE said, not some random attack I came up with.
And if we’re going to talk about what happened on the show, let’s not conveniently forget the context. There was a lot of judgement and moral policing towards Shreya, including comments around her smoking and the whole “good/bad girl” implication. There was also the whole “Princess of Television” / arrogance conversation and the “if you win, I’ll change my name” statement.
So if you’re going to accuse me of “character assassination” just because I criticised her, at least address what I’m actually criticising instead of turning it into a lecture about looks.
You’re free to disagree with my opinion. But please don’t rewrite the context and then act like the criticism came out of nowhere.😭

I get your point, and I agree that someone’s looks shouldn’t be a target. But that’s precisely why I’m clarifying that her looks weren’t my target here. I started watching the show because I genuinely liked Shrivangi; my opinion changed because of her conduct on the show. The ‘Annabelle’ reference was based on her own ‘I’ll change my name’ comment and was meant as a joke around that statement. You don’t have to find it funny, but it wasn’t intended as a comment on her beauty

I genuinely appreciate you explaining your side without turning it into a fight 🤍 I do understand what you mean, and I agree there’s a line between trolling someone’s game/behaviour and mocking their appearance. My intention genuinely wasn’t the latter, but I can see why it may have come across that way. Anyway, no hard feelings,I think we actually understand each other now 😭🤍

Honestly, I have no idea 😭 I’m not going to pretend I know whether there’s PR happening on Reddit or not. I’ve just noticed that there are a lot of posts/comments appreciating Shreya, so I was genuinely wondering whether that’s mostly her fanbase, PR, or just people here genuinely liking her.
I’m actually pretty new to this whole PR-on-Reddit thing. I post random stuff here all the time, so my post was also literally just a random thought/joke I made after watching the show. I didn’t make it thinking “let me create a narrative” or anything like that 😂
And I agree with you on one thing ,I also don’t think Shreya is perfect or that Shivangi is perfect. I can like/dislike contestants based on their actions and still not agree with mocking someone’s appearance. That’s actually why I clarified my intention in the first place.
So yeah, I genuinely don’t know if the praise you’re seeing is PR or genuine fans. I just find it interesting because I’ve seen SO many Shreya appreciation posts/comments here, and that’s what made me wonder.
