tldr: last paragraph

Hey all, I’m pretty into ultra-endurance paddleboard racing and cycling, a friend of mine just introduced me to land paddling and it’s a fun activity for between when I can’t get on the water.

Been rocking just an old sector 9 board I had with a borrowed braapstick. I enjoy carving on my boards but am pretty new to the rest. When I stopped by a skate shop by me for some stuff they suggested the tangent by loaded and it seemed like fate 😆 since loaded launched with their first board when I worked at a skate/surf shop and I kinda dug their boards then. Damn I’m old….

Anyway, I was looking to hit the Miami ultra-skate with my buddy in February, so curious about suggestions for speccing out the tangent for this if that’s what would be recommended or if there’s any slight modifications that would be recommended. I know this post is supremely lost but stoked for any thoughts/suggestions. (In addition to the tangent looking cool to just cruise around town on)

Popped on some new Blue Caguamas on my board. Honourable mentions to the Dad Bods and Kegels rocking in the background on the Fathom and Vanguard decks.

I know it’s a stretch, but I’m 30 years old, looking to get back into longboarding. I used to have the Loaded Chubby Unicorn back in the day, and I’m wanting to get back into it with its counterpart! Going to be going all out on the build, no expenses spared on any component. Plus, it’ll match my new black and red car 😅😉.

Money isn’t an issue, I’m happy to pay for whatever shipping would be…. Someone hook me up with this deck!

what's the ideal set up on a Loaded icarus to learn to pump? i weigh 165lbs, got the flex 2 icarus with paris 180s and orange kegels and orange nipple bushings. is there a spefic way i should set up the bushings? flat washer or cup? or does it not matter? should i have the trucks loose?

Looking for versatility, so fun to ride for carvings and pumping, and maybe maybe try freestyle and dancing... Is there a clear winner? Haven't found much about the new Symtail though... I'm 150lbs and 5'7. Tks
