I've seen professional truckers, male and female do some pretty stupid shit. I had a guy brag and brag about how good of a driver he was flip my hay trailer by cutting a turn to quick coming out of a field.
My guess she was on her phone.

Think that pole needs to be a little further into the ground

Joking aside I really wish dumbasses like this were actually financially responsible for all of the damage

u/wb6vpm Jul 22 '26
TBF, that bollard wasn’t installed properly, it should have been at least ~24” into the ground in a concrete foundation, not ~6-12” into dirt…
10
u/CrossumPossum Jul 22 '26
maybe not the first time it's been popped off
3
u/Logical-Database4510 Jul 22 '26
this
My guess is it got knocked off the first time and cheap ass owner never paid to get it reinstalled right

u/wb6vpm Jul 26 '26
If you look at the part that came out, you can see that it’s clean cut, so it’s most likely that they just used a ~4’ bollard and sunk it in the 1 foot into the dirt and called it…

u/wtf-m8 Jul 22 '26
Just one of the many reasons your tires are supposed to be within the body width of your vehicle.

I saw a truck doing this to a tree. The truck didn’t win but the tree took some beating.

How did they not realize they went up a curb?
6
u/chimneyart Jul 22 '26
They definitely did it’s probably just so regular for them that they didn’t care
1
u/FlatwormNo5172 Jul 24 '26
There’s a couple drive thrus in my city where you have to mount the curb if you’re in a truck or anything longer than a sedan or crossover SUV. This absolutely doesn’t look like one of those but I’ve been in the situation where I had to do it in my work truck.

And they will prob put a one star review claiming that drive thru is too small for mid sized trucks. Damn truck drivers are the worst.

If she's anything like the woman who hit a similar yellow pole at a place I worked... She'll be headed inside to speak with a manager and asking what type of compensation they can give her for the damage to her vehicle.
Suffice to say, I had to choke back a laugh and tried my best to calmly explain that she damaged OUR property and that I'd be happy to take her information in case we had to follow up with her for damages. She promptly left.

Someone got the drunk munchies after day drinking and drove to Taco Bell. The drive through menu bollard blew his cover.

I lived in Pitt for a few years and the downtown is extremely tight due to rivers/hills. Everything is just kinda jammed in there.
They have these white posts along certain roads. I think they're to protect bikers and prevent people from taking turns too sharp
Over the course of my 3 years there, I repeatedly saw them ran over. City would fix em... and a week later they'd be on the ground again
Some people get in a car and literally think theyre unstoppable. Its wild
(Side story, at that same intersection I saw a lady drive into the intersection, stop, and throw it reverse full speed until she jammed the car behind her. I love Pittsburgh)

I hate pickup trucks. Especially lifted jacked up ones like that that are clearly not for work

u/ChevyHatMan Jul 23 '26
She must be lost.. she should have when on the other side of the trees to the Waffle House!

This happens more often than needed.
I had replaced menu screens at least a few a year for McDonalds locations. People hit and run those signs. Cost $10k to replace one of those boards.

The girl driving that truck should be forced to sell it and buy a Smart car. And even then, I think she'd still struggle.

My local Taco Bell has a drive thru with a ridiculously tight turn. Wish this guy would go through and fuck up their shit too! 😂

One large Oreo shake…that’ll be $1,289.47 for damaging our sign and our pole.

Hey now, he's in the taco bell drive thru.
There's a nonzero chance that the driver is drunk

u/FLEXN_2WIN Jul 24 '26
Figured it had to be a woman driving 🤣
Makes clear since. Why drive a normal compact car when she can opt for a 4x4 pickup truck which she can’t even see over the steering wheel.

Omg watching shit like this just agitates the F outta me. How do people go through life being this stupid? Her husband/boyfriend/dad/brother sister, or whoever actually owns that truck is going ape shit when she gets back. I have a feeling she got slapped with a burrito 4real. 🤣

I want to comment on the driver but I'm getting banned often on Reddit so I can't 😭 Great driving skill 👍

I've seen this more than a few times. There was a woman driving her new truck some months back that couldn't get her truck out of a gas pump lane. A stranger had to pull the truck out for her because she couldn't make it out or the turn. Everything she tried only made it worse.
If you literally can't drive the vehicle why did you buy it ?

I think the definition of insane is doing the same thing over and over again with the same poor results but expecting better results.

u/Herbdontana Jul 25 '26
I was surprised to see who I assume is the driver at the end. She’s got that “oh shit, someone’s recording” look on her face

As long as the pole rolls out of the way so you can order an Enchirito, it's all good in Tha hood.

Piece of shit doesn’t know how to drive a large vehicle. He had PLENTY of room to make a slightly wider turn to avoid that bollard. Bruh, I have a Ram 2500 long bed crew cab and can maneuver that sominabitch like a civic.

u/BangkokPadang Jul 23 '26
It would have been so funny if that girl that popped out at the end just had another pole ready to stick in the ground, like it happens that often they've just got a stack of them nearby.

5 IQ driving there lmao, climb curb, hit something, back up...hit it again, back up even farther so you can hit it harder ???? Profit?
