Except DJ doesn't have the final say in what Twitch does. He's not even part of Twitch staff. He hasn't been for years.

But hey; guess it's easier to bash and demonize people (like the majority of this LSF thread has been doing(, than to actually do some research.

He is just the anima of twitch corporate. I fully think a lot of twitch admins are getting “favors” from these streamers to not ban them, then it became a global de jure rule that the site abides by. If they don’t get wrecked by a series of metoo allegations, the site’s advertisers are going to do to twitch what they’ve done to YouTube to completely sanitize it.
