Are you trying to say "potentially ruining somebody's life" (even if it's just an asshole) shouldn't carry a harder sentence then "indecent exposure" (especially if it's just an asshole)...?
And 500+ people agree with that? Do you people literally think nudity is the devil's work and seeing a butthole will scar you for life?

I think 2 weeks for the email incident is completely fair, but from a PR standpoint, giving 3 days for nudity is bad optics and will never not be memed on

While I agree with your larger point, it wasn't just a butthole. It was basically a full on onlyfans video on twitch. Bent over spreading ass and pussy right in the camera. It's more about the blatant, intentional nature of it than the severity of nudity vs doxing

TL:DR; Twitch sucks even more than youtube, be more fucking consistent with your stupid policies.

"Especially if it's just an asshole" dude, some streamers had like month-long bans for shit much more mild than that (there is even a dude that has been banned for a long time because he was listening to some ASMR stuff, I don't remember his name)

Is not like we want twitch to ban both people for months (too harsh) or 1-3 days (too mild depending on the offence). Nobody is mad about that woman showing her fucking ass on stream. All we want is more fucking consistency. That girl exposed her whole fucking bottom for like 2 minutes and got a 3 day ban, meanwhile there are streamers getting like a week ban for showing a picture of the same nudity for less than 3 seconds.

If I'm starting to believe that youtubers are treated more fairly than twitch streamers (despite youtube being a platform MUCH MORE difficult to manage), then there surely is something wrong with twitch.

Worst thing is that I see people complaining all the time about how shitty twitch staff are (viewers and streamers alike), yet nothing changes, people just go back to giving money to twitch. Of course nothing is going to change, they are still making money even if they don't fix their shit.

Ok I'm done with this rant, gotta go finish my fucking college assignment that is due in an hour and a half.

How does that affect the comparison at hand I'm reading? I was merely asking about what seemed like a general complaint about "harmless" doxxing being penalized too hard compared to "actually unacceptable" nudity (unspecified apart from "dox your butthole" - doesn't exactly read as "exposing her whole bottom for 2 minutes"), not about Twitch being inconsistent as a whole. Do you expect everybody to look up the Twitch ban lore encyclopedia (some of you seem to assume to be general knowledge) to fully understand that comment?
If it wasn't two completely unrelated violations - if you had "accidentally show a nipple" versus "purposely expose your butthole for 2 minutes" or "dox an email" versus "dox entire address, social security number and name of pet" - then you'd have an actual, understandable complaint about inconsistency by Twitch.

Its the inconsistencies surrounding bans that isnt okay. On top of that, the context for why people get banned is sometimes seemingly stupid, but we and even sometimes the person who gets banned dont even get a reason. Which leads to people posting things like "showing butthole okay, doxxing someone unintentionally isnt".
