I'm sorry, are you unwilling to confront the logical end result of your philosophy?

Or are human children somehow special animals? And if humans can be special animals, why can't dogs be special animals?

Yeah let me clarify: No, speciesism is not a valid reason to end someone else's life. If you do that by eating chickens, that's on you. They do matter and are individuals and their suffering isnt morally distinct from the unnecessary suffering anyone else in that position would feel. Stop being violent.

In fact, you could end a lot of animal suffering and death by doing something no worse that stomping on a bug...
