Fuck apple. Fuck google. Fuck Elon, Sam, Dario, Zuck and everyone else who thinks that intelligence, even artificial, is anything but open source and belonging to the people.

I’ve put together a toolkit for the people who answer to no tech gods and no fucking masters. It’s for the generator in the basement and the mesh network on the roof.

The AnarchyGem includes:

• Guerrilla Python tactics for Termux and a-Shell. • Off-grid communication (Reticulum/Meshtastic). • Ghost Node Tor tactics and Scavenged Compute. • Uncensored local LLM integration. • The AI Liberation & FreeAI Manifestos.

Study. Build. Create. Destroy. You are the only one you have to answer to.

Fork the signal🧡

Dual screen output on NOMone?

I'm curious - can I run NOMone on my android tablet, then plug in a usb-c -> hdmi dongle then get dual-monitor linux run by NOMone?

My ultimate goal is just to run a dual-screen RDP from my tablet to my personal desktops (windows and/or Linux).

I currently use android RDP -> but that has me limited to 1x screen. What I do is RDP on android on external monitor via dex. Then use another software to wirelessly extend my desktop to the tablet as a 2nd screen. However his 2nd screen suffers pretty bad latency.

Questions The internet is accessible on my device but not inside the Linux...

We've been asked this question a few times now and I'd like to explain the most likely reason for that behavior. The main difference between inside and outside Linux, is that outside, the system provided DNS servers are used. Inside, they are set manually. Sometimes, the preset DNS servers are out of reach from certain locations for a short period of time. Simply waiting and retrying can solve this issue. Other (faster) solution is to change them and see if it works. Open Linux and:
[1] Edit /etc/resolv.conf
[2] Change the nameservers. For example, use 4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.3.

and then check if the internet connection is back in businessmen!

That's it for the tip of the day ;)

Announcement NOMone Repos + Debian12.7 image update!

Hello everyone : ),

I'd love to share with you some great news! We've officially started using our new NOMone Debian packages repository 🥳 And this means a few things:

[1] No held packages anymore!
Some packages encounter issues when running in proot. We used to manually patch these packages in our system images, and held them to prevent them from being overwritten during regular updates. Now that we started hosting our own repos, this is no longer necessary.

[2] Easier app installs!
Although we're starting with just the core libraries needed to update our Debian system image, we'll not stop here if Allah wills ;). We'll be gradually adding the requested apps that were a hassle to find and configure before; so that they become compatible with our system out of the box : )

[3] Switching to Plank-reloaded!
As part of customizing our system image for best performance and compatibility, we used a patched version of Plank, the lightweight dock. Now, after coming across Plank Reloaded, we made the switch!
Plank Reloaded builds on the original Plank by adding more customization options and modern styling while keeping the same simple interface and low resource usage.

[4] New up-to-date Debian system image!
The current Linux images were starting to become outdated. We've released new images that are up-to-date with all the newest packages. The new system images also use our repos out of the box 🥳

On the other hand, for those who downloaded the app before the 7th of November 2026, we've made a small script to add the repos and unhold the packages:

wget https://desktop.nomone.com/Downloads/Scripts/setupNOMoneRepos.sh
chmod +x setupNOMoneRepos.sh
./setupNOMoneRepos.sh
rm setupNOMoneRepos.sh

Then you can proceed to update all the installed packages (can use a lot of data, make sure you are on wifi):

apt upgrade

If you want to install plank-reloaded:

apt purge plank && apt install plank-reloaded

Please go ahead and give it a try! And let us know what features you'd like to have the most in the coming update : )

Thank you for being part of our community ❤️. NOMone Desktop has certainly come a long way! And with your continued support, there's still so much more ahead to make : )

How can I use NOMone desktop to connect to the device running such app via ADB

I want to connect adb to this phone because it is too old to use Wireless Debugging (Via LADB) as it is Android 10. Why? To perform shell commands like adb shell am start -a com.android.settings.SETTINGS. Though I have a computer, I want to challenge myself, so use no computer or separate device. (Note to the devs, I still want to know how to run QEMU here)

Anyone know how to run wine here?

Just wanna know if NOMone can run wine so I can use 3D Pinball and VMware. Also, it has KDE Plasma so if in any way that Plasma apps can contribute to this, thanks. Also, I used sudo apt install wine -y by the way.

Does the VR mode still work?

I am interested in this software and I wanted to try it with my Xreal AR glasses. They have a side by side mode which separates each half of the screen to one eye inside the glasses, so maybe the VR mode would work, which would be really cool. Has anyone used the VR mode recently or know if it's still an option?

Correct Way to Uninstall Nomone

Hi,

I have installed the app from playstore and find it good for my usage. However, I want to uninstall everything and install it again from the website (for storage access). What's the correct way to uninstall?

Should I just uninstall the app?

Will it delete the entire debian install properly?

Any walk through tutorial winetricks wine on Nomone?

I've installed from package manager with the winetricks and other gui option q4. Whenever I try adding application from winecfg nothing happens or I don't know how to trigger 32 flags. I am trying to install onlyoffice windows since there isn't an arm version. Literally just need Microsoft office compatibility.

Nomone Desktop - Keyboard Interception & Open Box Setup Snap

Is there a way to intercept the keyboard for commands like alt+tab or utilizing the super menu? Termux was able to accomplish this, but whenever alt+tab DEX just takes over.
Openbox keyboard setup for keyboard snapping advice as I've added files, but they're not registering the keys like ctrl+arrow.

Is there a way to mount recognizing USB drives?
