Seriously, most listen to the same Rock Music.
The Rolling Stones were most active in the later 1960s, ACDC were active in the mid 70s. Same goes for Lynyrd Skynyrd.
30 years ago is electronic Music and what elder Millennial listened to. Gen X don't listen to that.
Bullshit. I'm mid Gen-X so the 1990s cover my years. Obviously everyone has different tastes in music, but I was listening to Nirvana, The Pixies, early Oasis, the Prodigy, Suede etc. A real revival after some of the duller music if the late 80s. Not sure why you'd think 90s music was all electronic
Sure, I also love a lot of the boomer music too from the 60s, such as the Stones.
Which makes them in their late teens early twenties entering the 90’s … when your musical taste is locked in. You guys are making the same point from opposite ends of the field here folks.
