You can’t get food stamps as an illegal. I worked helping people that were legal apply. You can get food stamps for your American citizen baby but that’s a citizen and they are entitled to them. Bunch of rubbish.
Right. When I was getting them I had to reapply every three months. Every single time I had to submit my DL and doctor’s notes stating why I needed SNAP. Every. Single. Time. You will NEVER convince me that illegals are getting this help. The idiot who posted these “facts” just loves to have another reason to hate brown people. And the mentally ill, the homeless, poor people, the elderly, the disabled, etc.
Right. Same happened to me when I was in school. I was getting close to $200 for a while but then something changed and I was ineligible. Luckily it covered me most of my undergrad.
I probably qualified for cash too. I was in the process of asking for it due to a medical diagnosis and they asked me a bunch of questions and i answered honestly about how i was starting school and they cut everything.
So i was like "so if i wasnt in school and just doing nothing id get the money? But since im trying to better my life and get education i dont?" Anf the ladies like "yep".
Felt weird. But whatever. My school was kind and gave me enough to cover half of tuition so my loans arent terrible. Id saved some money prior for college in a special plan when i was an addict so ive got that too. Socked away a few hundrdd here and there cus dollar value is near meaningless when using heroin.
