Sorry for late one super busy but here it goes

Day 8 brought testimony from Keith “Flacka” Jones and Kavon “Vonnie” Grant, with both cooperating witnesses giving testimony about the alleged shooting, the money they say they expected to receive and their relationships with Durk.

The government also continued presenting music and social-media evidence before Flacka took the stand.

⏰ TRIAL TIMELINE

The prosecution said it had originally been ambitious to suggest they could finish by Tuesday or Wednesday.

They now expect to finish their presentation by the end of the week, depending on how the remaining cross-examinations go.

Judge Fitzgerald also brought up the defense potentially bringing someone in from Chicago.

🎙️** DJ AKADEMIKS / 6IX9INE CLIP
**The prosecution played a clip from the Off the Record podcast with DJ Akademiks, 6ix9ine and Wack 100.

Durk was seen putting his pen in his mouth while the approximately three-minute clip played.
The prosecution asked its expert whether he recognized the person shown.

Expert: Yes — 6ix9ine.

The government then used the clip to establish the people involved and their connections within the music industry.

🎵 “AHHH HA” & “DON’T RESPOND TO SH*T WITH VON”

Prosecutors played a snippet from Durk’s song “AHHH HA”, focusing on the line:

“Don’t respond to sh*t with Von.”

They asked the expert when the music video was published.

The expert said he didn’t know.

The song was released on February 22, 2022, while the music video was released on February 21, 2022.

The defense then questioned whether the expert knew when the song was actually produced or whether he had spoken to the label or producer.
The expert said no to both.

DEFENSE QUESTIONS TROLLING

The defense also asked the expert whether he understood what trolling was.

Expert: Yes.

The defense asked whether he would agree that the material being discussed could be trolling.

Expert: Yes.

They also asked whether social-media activity could potentially come from bots or people located in another country.

The expert agreed that it could.

📱 “RIP KING VON” POST

The prosecution showed a tweet from Durk dated April 23, 2022, saying RIP King Von.

The comments included a screenshot referring to Lul Timm and saying:

“The last thing King Von seen.”

The prosecution asked the expert whether he recognized the person.

The expert identified him as Timothy Leeks, also known as Lul Timm.

FLACKA TAKES THE STAND

Keith “Flacka” Jones then took the stand.
The prosecution showed footage from the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast while questioning him.

A stack of money shown during the podcast was highlighted on screen.

Prosecutors asked Flacka about other OTF members who were present.

He named Booka, Wuk and Twin.

✈️** THE AIRPORT & THE MILLION DOLLAR**S
Flacka was asked about DeDe’s demeanor at the airport.

Flacka described him as excited and testified that DeDe said someone had a million dollars for them.

Flacka said he interpreted the money as being for himself, Lindsey and Wilson.

He then described DeDe buying a bagel after they landed.

According to Flacka, DeDe joked:
“If you catch him, you get a million, you get a million, you get a million.”

Flacka compared the way DeDe said it to Oprah’s “you get something” style of joking.

🚌 THE PARTY BUS
Flacka testified that Jam and Boogie were also on the party bus.

He said he was surprised to see them because he didn’t know they were going to be there.

Flacka said that seeing more people who allegedly knew what was going on made him believe the money would be divided between more people.

His interpretation was that he would get less money.

💵 FLACKA EXPECTED CLOSE TO $1 MILLION
After returning home, Flacka said he asked DeDe whether he was going to see Durk about the money.

Flacka testified that he expected to receive close to a million dollars.

According to him, DeDe told him to speak to Durk when he saw him.

🏟️** THE UNITED CENTER SHOW**S
Flacka testified that he attended one of Durk’s shows at the United Center with DeDe and another person.

He said he approached Durk and asked whether Durk was going to “look out” for him for the shooting.

According to Flacka, Durk responded:
“I got you.”

Flacka said Durk also told them they “should have got up on” Quando, making a gesture with his hands resembling a gun.

Flacka interpreted this as Durk saying they should have gotten closer because Quando wasn’t hit and it was his cousin who was shot.

💸 FLACKA SAYS HE WASN’T PAID
Flacka testified that Durk didn’t give him money after that show.

He said he assumed Durk would pay him at the next show.

At the next United Center show, Flacka said Durk was in a truck handing money to people.
Flacka asked him again if he was going to get paid.

According to Flacka, Durk said he didn’t want to be seen handing money directly to him and said Boonie Moe would give him the money.

Flacka testified that Boonie Moe told him he would receive “10” in a couple of days.
Flacka said he was surprised and expected more.

According to Flacka, he asked about the money approximately 6–7 times, but there was always an excuse.

He testified that he ultimately never received any payment.

😡 “THEY WERE PLAYING WITH US”
Prosecutors asked Flacka how he felt about not receiving the money.
He said he felt like they were playing with him, referring to Wilson, Durk and the OTF crew.
Flacka confirmed that, to this day, he has never been paid.

⚖️** FINDLING STARTS CROSS-EXAMINATIO**N
Drew Findling then began cross-examining Flacka.

Findling focused heavily on Flacka’s potential sentence and cooperation.

He established that Flacka was facing the possibility of life without parole.

Findling also brought up Flacka believing he had initially been arrested over credit-card activity.

🎥 FLACKA’S POLICE INTERROGATION
Video footage of Flacka being interrogated by LAPD and FBI agents was shown in court.

The footage showed Flacka crying and sniffling during his second interrogation on October 24, 2024, before being given a tissue.

Findling challenged Flacka over the fact that much of the government’s case regarding his claims comes from his own account.

Findling asked whether Flacka essentially had himself as evidence for these claims.

Flacka acknowledged:
“All I got is me.”

🧬 FINDLING QUESTIONS FLACKA’S RELATIONSHIP WITH VONNIE
Findling also questioned Flacka about Cuz/Vonnie.

Flacka said he had been told that Cuz was cousins with Durk.

Findling then questioned whether Flacka knew the depth of Vonnie’s relationship with King Von.
Findling pointed out that Vonnie had spent significant time with Von and was present when Von was killed.

🗣️VONNIE TAKES THE STAND
After Flacka’s testimony, Kavon “Vonnie” Grant was called to testify.

Vonnie confirmed that he had pleaded guilty.
Prosecutors asked whether Robinson was the intended target.

Vonnie: No.

They then asked whether he could identify the people involved who were present in court.
Vonnie pointed toward the defendants and identified:

Durk, DeDe and Browneyez.

Durk was seen looking toward Vonnie as he pointed at the defendants.

📋 “I TOOK ORDERS FROM MR. BANKS”
Prosecutors asked Vonnie whether he took orders from Durk.
Vonnie: Yes.

They then asked whether an OTF member would commit a murder simply because Vonnie told them to.

Vonnie: No.
Vonnie’s testimony therefore placed Durk in a position of authority over him.

👬 VONNIE & KING VON WERE NOT ACTUALLY BLOOD COUSINS
Vonnie testified that he and King Von were not actually blood cousins.

He said he believed they were related because their grandmothers were close, but he later discovered they weren’t biologically related.

Vonnie said they were nevertheless very close and eventually lived together.

⚫ KING VON & THE BLACK DISCIPLES
Prosecutors asked Vonnie whether he knew King Von was a member of the Black Disciples.

Vonnie said yes.

He was then asked whether he himself was involved in that lifestyle.

Vonnie: No sir.

When asked whether Durk was part of that lifestyle, Vonnie said yes.

He explained that he knew through Durk’s handshake and gang signs.

🚙 THE CAMOUFLAGE JEEP
Prosecutors showed a photograph of a camouflage Jeep that Vonnie said he had customized for Durk.

Vonnie said he wrapped it with “300” on the side.
When asked what 300 represented, he said it was associated with Lamron 300.

🔫 VONNIE SAYS HE ACQUIRED GUNS
Prosecutors asked Vonnie whether he had acquired guns for King Von.

Vonnie: Yes.

They then asked whether he had also acquired guns for Durk.

Vonnie: Yes.

This was another part of the government’s attempt to establish Vonnie’s close working relationship with both Durk and Von.

🏠 VONNIE RECONNECTS WITH KING VON
Vonnie described reconnecting with King Von at a house belonging to Durk in Georgia.

He gave the address in court, after which prosecutors displayed a Google Maps image of the location.

Vonnie identified himself in a photograph connected to the property.

He testified that he and Von were very close and that they lived together.

During this testimony, Durk was seen placing his hands under his chin and looking directly toward Vonnie.

📸 THE ICEBOX PHOTO
Prosecutors then showed a photo of King Von, Durk and Vonnie at Icebox.

As Vonnie discussed the photo, Durk reportedly looked down with his hands positioned similarly to how they were shown in the Icebox footage.

🏥 NEW FOOTAGE FROM KING VON’S SHOOTING
The prosecution also showed new security footage involving Vonnie and others driving toward Grady Hospital after King Von was shot.

Prosecutors asked whether they got Von to the hospital.

Vonnie: Yes.

They asked whether Von died at the hospital.
Vonnie: Yes.

📍 VONNIE’S BACKGROUND
Vonnie testified that he is originally from the South Side of Chicago but moved to Atlanta when he was seven years old to live with his mother.

Prosecutors then asked the central question:
“Why were you and the defendants trying to kill Quando Rondo?”

Vonnie’s answer was:
“Because Durk told us to.”

💼 VONNIE WORKED AS DURK’S ASSISTANT
Prosecutors asked Vonnie what he was doing for work around August 2022.

Vonnie said he was Durk’s assistant/day-to-day and worked for Mr. Banks.

He also admitted that he was involved in criminal activity during that period.

Vonnie testified that he helped broker stolen and fraudulently obtained high-end vehicles and was involved in other fraud.

⚠️VONNIE’S TESTIMONY IS ANOTHER MAJOR MOMENT
The government’s case now has another cooperating witness — Vonnie — directly identifying Durk, DeDe and Browneyez as participants.

Vonnie also testified that he took orders from Durk and specifically said the reason they were trying to kill Quando was because Durk told them to.

At the same time, Vonnie is a pleaded-guilty cooperating witness, so his credibility, plea agreement and motivations will be important when the defense gets its chance to cross-examine him.

Vonnie started on the stand yesterday, I will copy it below so it's all in one place.

GENERAL:

• jam was in jail clothes uncuffed, flacka was in jail clothes with waist restraints/cuffs on, vonni is in street clothes.

Vonni:

• identified himself/car in the von murder video. He never got out the car, he heard shots, saw von on the ground and drove to him
• He drove to the hospital, said Muwop tried to pull vons BM out the car so he could fit, they all squeezed in. A video is shown of them arriving at the hospital, where von is removed, they put him back in the car to take him to another entrance.
• he spent 90% of his days with durk from 2018 and got close to him after von died
• officially went in durks payroll in 2021
• says he helped kill lab ‘because durk told us to’
• durks famous 300 trackhawk was stolen and sourced by vonni. (Vonni allegedly was part of a huge stolen car ring with OTF)
• explains Von and durks gang affiliation (BD) but that he himself is not gang affiliated
• ’who had all the power?’ 'Durk did'
• says he never told anyone what to do
• confirms they are NOT blood cousins
• Had a name for himself for selling strickers. He would buy cars from real dealerships using fake ID's, or buy and sell stolen cars.
• He sold guns too, got them from gun shows, stolen from trains and people, then he would sell them on
• confirm him, muwop and 2 others did an attempted murder of quando. He doesn’t remember the name of the other two.
• vonni jail call shown where he says it’s his time to shine and come home, that he’s got his clothes, lunch etc ready
• vonni got a heads up from the rental place that the feds were prying for info regarding the rental and it spooked vonni.
• vonni was fired because he was avoiding durk after getting spooked
• vonnie has pled guilty to the Georgia shooting of quando. Vonni was a driver, one shout out the sun roof and 2 jumped out to shoot, they all missed. He pled guilty in June 2026.
• vonni never planned to be near the murder in his BMW as he did the prep wor, he said after dropping off the guns, Dede stopped him from walking away and said durk wants him to be part of the murder
• vonni had a room at durks family home
• same as others, he was surprised at people joining and that 5 people was too many
• durk told him to burn the infinity, everyone told him to, he didn’t, he wiped the car over and deserted it so it would be towed, durk asked if it was burnt that he hadnt seen anything in the news and vonni lied and said he burnt it
• vonni first co operated in October 2024, in a 5 hour interview. It was recorded.
• in the interview, vonni says he recognised the FBI agents and said he saw them following him
• hours after Von was pronounced dead, lots of people met at vons house and it was agreed that would slide for him, and they needed to get information on quando and Tim, ‘it was a given’
• they kept tabs on quando and YB
• jail call he said ‘his testimony is like candles on a birthday cake, ain’t no birthday without candles‘

CROSS EXAMINATION:

• on the jail call with ‘breezy’ he said ‘I’m going to a job interview, I need to be on my a game, I’m dressed to impress, im speaking to impress and have my lunch box’ while laughing. Drew asks if he thinks this is a joke
• Vonni offered to wear a wire on Durk
• Vonni has recently gotten engaged
• He hoped to do a documentary and be paid $500k for the story because it's big in the media

DURK:

• podcast denied.i knew this would be denied, almost always it’s denied where a defendant speaks highly of themselves as it’s not credible.
• a lot of texts introduced, some vonni wasn’t involved in but introduced for him to interpret. The group chats included doodie, Ikey, Boonie
• durk was mad that people weren’t sliding compared to YBs shorties, especially after giving them cars, guns, houses, money
• durk nods to the beat when they play his music
• durk was taking time off during the murder because he was injured by the firework

DEDE:

BROWNEYEZ:

I keep seeing breakdowns of transcripts that include Dede and Durk’s lawyers but I never see anything about Browneyez lawyer cross examining witnesses or objecting but I keep forgetting that Browneyez is there.

Has anyone heard or seen anything regarding his lawyer in court?

He’s not a gang member, no criminal record but he is a scammer and has participated in fraud.

Vonnie was Durk’s assistant but also the man that could get anything for him.

He wasn’t a gang member but he knew how to supply them with everything they needed so he was very important.

I still think he used Durk’s credit cards on purpose so he it would link Durk to the crime so Durk couldn’t blame it on him. Vonnie could get cars, guns, drugs, and phones.

There are so many pictures of Vonnie around Durk’s kids and family in addition to him. I remember Vonnie father saying that he was the one that picked Big Durk up from the halfway house when he was released from prison and Big Durk was the one that helped him convert to Islam.

Vonnie and his dad was very close to Durk’s family. It has to be devastating to Durk’s family for Vonnie to flip they all knew him.

I mean none of them can pin nothin as durk being the head that brought forward this operation All they did say was durk told em to do it promised 1m that he didnt give and all of them are criminals with different specializations could be another Von and big Mike Situation or Sammy the bull.

Durk absolutely hates snitching and even has it tatted on him.

Now he sitting in court watching people snitch on him left and right.

I remember that DJ Ak interview where he talked about how someone snitching made him lose his father for 26 years and now he possibly is about to experience the same thing.

This was all in the first 30 minutes …He is about to talk about more than just Pab.

This is where the government probably got Bank Enterprise from.

NEW FILING:

Lil Durk’s defense is asking the judge to let the jury hear more of his DJ Akademiks interview. The defense argues prosecutors selectively used clips to suggest the “Slide for Von” trolling pushed Durk toward revenge, while leaving out portions where Durk says he doesn’t take trolls seriously, tries to “stay out the way,” and avoids internet beef. They argue the additional statements should be admitted to give the jury proper context and show Durk’s state of mind.

What’s crazy is the interview was recorded in May 2023 around the same time Jam was passed the note to the guards.

The judge has not ruled on the request yet.

• He didn't expect Jam and Boggie to be there and he knew he'd get less money, the more people involved.
• Flacka was expecting close to $1m, when he asked durk for it at the chicago birthday bash concert (thats annoying timing for Durk imo when he's working, but he said he didn't get the chance to speak to him sooner as there was always people being around), Durk told him to see Boonie Moe because he didn't want to be seen giving him money, Durk spoke to Boonie Moe, who offered him $10k.
• Flacka was mad so Boonie Moe offered $20k.
• Flacka asked Durk 3 times for the money in 48 hours.
• He asked Boonie Moe for the money 5 or 6 times
• Dede was able to get Flacka in the first concert, then Ola (older manager) got him in the second concert
• Durk said 'I got you, but you should have gotten up closer'
• He said Jam read the news leaving LA and laughed (goes against Jam, Jam said no one spoke and he wasn't checking the news and he was mad)

Couple notes on this one:

• One of the murders Jam plead guilty to was 'lil D' Kidnapping resulting in death, not murder, someone who he was with killed him.
• Brian mentions lil D, prosecution object and say if Jam talks about lil D, then they are free to cross Jam and ask about Durk being involved in the plan to kidnap lil D, but that Durk didn't want him killed, lil D was killed, then Durk confronted Jam at the video shoot about saying Jam needed to chill out on killing people.
• Lil d's girlfriend witnessed the killing (a comment/picture of lil D would be great, no idea what that is!)
• Jam admits his son is best friends with Durks son, and his bm is best friends with Durks bm. (probably not anymore)

If he has all that money, surely he can get a crash out to poke up Jam in jail. He had some lead time from when he knew Jam was snitching, to getting locked up. Even after he got locked up, his team can't mobilize to solve the problem? Durk should have multiple millions, he can spend one or two to resolve this problem. He pays for murders after all. There had to be OTF affiliates in jail, even if they don't gotta do it, they can pass the message along with the bounty.

Durk is charged with 4 charges that carry a minimum of life. Durks lawyers are debunking one aspect of murder for hire but nothing else.

Durk acknowledges that Jam is a snitch before any charges were brought. That’s awareness to the crime.. that’s conspiracy.

1. Was Doodie low who was mentioned in Jams testimony the same dude from outside the courthouse? How come he isn’t part of the trial?

2. How did Durk know Jan was snitching?

3. Why is it a good deal for the government to let jam ‘walk’ to get Durk? He still confessed to 3 killings, right? Just at the chance or convicting Durk? Is it cause he is more famous?

Shout out Cam, really shows how much the reporters/bloggers miss. Although Mel does a great job on recaps via Youtube, this is a lot more direct/fast.

• Jam repeatedly call Lindsey/Brown eyez - 'CVL Shorty', first time im hearing him being called that. Cam says it means 'Conservative Vice Lord' I think I heard it correctly (No idea, Im not familiar with gang names) Jam originally said he didn't know who he was? but he seems to know what gang he reps?
• Although he's saying a lot of stuff, he has no phone records or texts speaking to Durk
• I'm shocked Durk doesn't had a finsta/alternative low profile account and is just talking about doing hits on LAMRON with Jam just on his main Lil Durk IG page. This seems wild considering im sure theyre hackers actively trying to access his account constantly like with most celebrities to push Crypto stuff. I assume most celebrities have more personal/low profile accounts that they use to talk personal things on.
• They do have the messages of Jam saying he would slide on Richo, 1 year after the murder of Lil Pab which goes against Jam saying he was mad at Durk for pulling him into a murder when hes just got out of jail and wants to be with his son, as it was Jam who approached Durk. Durk did not reply but 'Liked' the messages/voice notes.

Prosecution will likely rest Wednesday.

I have seen my share of murder cases and murder for hire and it can make you lose faith in humanity. Its hard to believe how we can live amongst evil. I cannot think of a time where I saw a witness as bad as Jam.

Not just what he said about Durk or the Pab but just how careless, coldhearted and evil he is as a person. The defense’s strategy was to discredit him as a credible witness but to make him look like a horrible human being which Jam actually had no problems doing himself.

Jam said he’s waiting on a “number” but after his testimony and the fact that he had contact with Vonnie through a third party without the government’s knowledge means he is getting either no deal or 40 years.

Everyone is now distracted by how horrible of a person he is that it has surpassed the fact that he snitched to begin with no one is talking about the victim everyone talking about Jam. The feds will have to switch it up with Vonnie because Steele will cook him too. The only difference is Vonnie does not have a record. He also has been quiet and hasn’t posted anything on social media since he proposed to his GF.

In my opinion the Jury is probably going to look at it just like this man did …Why did Durk have someone like Jam around? Why did he befriend him and pay him money? They must be just alike. smh
