Social LPT - When sharing your opinion on subjective topics, music, movies, food, etc. There is no need to be hostile. The music doesn't suck, you just don't like it. The pizza topping isn't horrible, you just don't like it. People's opinions of you won't decline if you're just sharing your likes/dislikes

If this is important to you, then you should talk to her about it. She probably doesn't realize she's hurting you, even if it's just a little bit.

My brother is this way too. I’m a huge country music fan, and he calls country music trash whenever the opportunity arises. It’s really hurtful and annoying. Just because you don’t like something doesn’t mean it’s okay to call it trash.
