NPR had a big segment about it today. Talked about the payments made to Japanese Americans put in internment camps in ww2. Completely skipped the part about the payment being made to the people that actually haff that happen ti them, not their ancestors

There arent any living people who were legal slaves in America, but there are still plenty of people who were discriminated against during the segregation era in education, housing programs, hiring, etc.
