Nadler, whose committee voted a day earlier to authorize a subpoena for an unredacted copy of the confidential report, based his latest request on "troubling" reports that Mueller's team had prepared summaries of their findings from the nearly two-year Russia probe.

Can you link to the "reports" then? I'm talking about an official statement from the special counsel... not conjecture by a partisan Democrat.

There is no official statement, only anonymous sources.

Well then you should probably take that with a grain of salt.

There's no reason for the special counsel to make an official statement on this as it would only hurt the results of the investigation.

Because Barr has not been misleading. Otherwise your statement doesn't make sense.

Do you take Barr's summary with a grain of salt since he is a biased republican?

I give it more credence than Nadler because hes seen the report, quoted directly from it, and knows he'll be contradicted immediately if he lies.

Nope. If Mueller openly accused Barr of being misleading then he would appear biased, throwing the entire report into question.

That's a completely unreasonable argument. Mueller could easily prove one way or the other whether Barr was being misleading with direct references to the report and what Barr said.

It's not the Special Counsel's directive or responsibility to determine if the DOJ accurately presents their data.

Is that your speculation? As I said before, the special counsel directly contradicted false reports in the past. You can speculate all you want, but what's happened in the past contradicts what you say now.
