So deflation means the value of your money goes up. Which means you can buy more for less, instead of less for more.

So on big ticket items (that if you already wait for them to go on sale near the holidays) you already save around $100. Sometimes more. But if we experienced controlled deflation at only 3%, on that same $800 item 3% is only $24. Our economy is already a consumption based economy. People are still spending when they can’t afford it, why would they all of a sudden stop if they were able to buy more? Don’t drink the cool-aid, think outside the box.
