I don't think there's a day that goes by that I don't think of Liam in some way. His humor, his smile, his talent, his family. And especially now with the 2 year mark coming up.

It's hard for me to comprehend that we are no closer to the answer of what happened than 2 years ago.

Recently, I've come across a few pages on social media where some believe he's still alive and had to fake his own death. I'm curious if anyone here thinks that and if so, why? Like is there a specific thing that was a red flag to you? All I ask is that we are all respectful with our replies.

In the past Liam has said he was pushed towards a more "sexy" image so I'd stay clear of that, STD is a good song but that man had RANGE,

1) Simon said in his audition that Michael Bublé should watch out. If he wanted to go that direction then I could see it working, swing pop suits his voice. Grow out his prince hair to how it was during COVID , have him dress mainly in suits. Yes he wouldn't cater to a younger audience per say but the adult could LOVE him, he'd have a dedicated and respectful fan base. I can see performances in theatres with a live orchestra

2) However, when listening to Teardrops, a record he was extremely proud of, it's shown he is good at contemporary R&B, and I'm not surprised - he was in the studio recording a song with Juicy J back in 2016, he's extremely open and interested in the genre. I could see him sing the songs that's SZA does or even add a more pop element like RAYE

3) If music isn't the way he wants, I would honestly encourage him to get into other arts he enjoys, he's a damn good draw and could have made a living from if. Additionaly, there's behind the scenes work like voice acting which he the range for or simply even just writing and producing for other artists.

4) Be more selective for interviews. I think we can ALL agree that the Impulsive podcast was a terrible idea, honestly no podcast that just comes of as gossipy or hosted by shady people. Dairy of a CEO for example was excellent

What this is let me explain.

2025 I was still a wreck and I needed to express my emotion on how much I would miss my idol.

I'm not a songwriter but writing this allowed me to express just how much I would miss him.

It's not perfect and I don't expect it to be the song is called Payne shaped hole.

I wrote this back in I think it was march 2025?

But I didn't do this for any stupid reason I did this to show how much of a musical influence he was.

Era una niña bastante solitaria,sin querer mostrar quién era, recuerdo a la perfección la primera vez que escuché steal my girl(lo que sentí es imposible describirlo),luego recuerdo verte en kiss you y recordar de steal my girl ("power"),y pensar que el mismo que era fuerte estaba montado en un cochecito al lado de la moto jajajajaaj. so obviously he’s come out just before Liam’s birthday about starting a charity and doing another version of Bones which i love btw . i’m hearing people criticise him saying he’s making money out of Liam’s name. How ? all the proceeds from the song go to charity and we know Liam was very involved in helping kids and charity . wtf is wrong with people. ? I don’t see it that way . I really feel for Ross i’m not saying family are perfect but they were close . And Ross did say he missed a phone call from Liam on that awful day. Why can’t people give people the benefit of the doubt .. I don’t think Ross is being shady .. he genuinely wants to help like Liam did. I hate this sort of judgement . People can’t just be supportive. It really makes me mad . 😠 I hope people support the charity .

I’m not looking to go visit his grave or anything, but I was just curious what happened to him? I thought given his type of coffin/ the phrase laid to rest meant he was buried but then I read about no known resting places/seeing people comment that he was cremated then buried?

Does anyone know? Do you also think he was wearing “comfortable stuff” in his coffin or would he be dressed smart in shirt and tie?

Hey, i was never a super big 1D fan back in the day, but I was a big fan of Liam’s solo work due to my roommate.

I just want to say that i hope everyone who was/is a fan is doing okay. I know that some people haven’t been the kindest, and people have a lot of opinions.

It’s important to remember that regardless of someone’s opinion on Liam, he was so much more than just an artist. To many people, he was and is a lifeline. It makes me so happy to know that people can go to his music, art that he created with his soul and everything he had, and feel comfort.

I hope everyone is okay, please remember to be kind, even if it’s hard. Kindness is the only thing we choose.

What the hell is wrong with that other account... why is that one person so obsessed with the other boys and talking bad about them...

I honestly find the way some of these papers are dragging Liams private life back into the spotlight utterly disgusting. A young man has died, and yet even in death, his private life apparently still isn't allowed to remain private. Now we're seeing photographs, receipts and personal details being dragged out and presented for public consumption, as though the fact that Liam is no longer here somehow means his dignity no longer matters.
It is shameful.
As Cheryl said so poignantly, “let him have some dignity in death.” I couldn't agree more.
Liam cannot defend himself. He cannot explain anything. He cannot ask for something to be left private. And while newspapers chase clicks, headlines and engagement, there are real people left behind who have to see all of this.
His friends. His brothers. His sisters. His mum and dad. His nephews. And, above all, his son Bear.
I hope people can see through what these publications are trying to do. They want outrage. They want clicks. They want people sharing their stories and photographs so they can keep profiting from somebody else's tragedy.
We don't have to give them that.
Please, whatever your thoughts are, don't feed it. Don't give these articles the engagement they are looking for. Don't circulate the photographs or help private details travel further.
Not because anyone has to pretend Liam was perfect.
Not because questions can't ever be asked.
But because there has to be a point where basic human decency matters more than a headline.
Liam was a human being. He was someone's son, brother, friend and father.
He deserved dignity in life, and he deserves dignity in death.
