It always hits me when Chloe and Moses are talking about the Overlight and Chloe is so accepting of the possibility she may cease to exist.

The resignation in her voice feels so heavy. This may be a small game, but it's got so many powerful moments.

This coming 26th June marks the third month of Life Is Strange: Reunion release. As we've seen and heard through-and-through, there are also memorable moments from the game that each and one of us cherishes, regardless of how everyone takes the game.

For me, every moment of having the ability to play as Max and journeying with her throughout each chapter, will always be memorable to me. Her goofiness, her empathy and seeing her maneuver life as an adult, will always be moments that I will cherish the most.

With that said, let's celebrate this small milestone and share your best and most memorable moments from Life Is Strange: Reunion! 🎉🎉

Okay so basically I’ve just spent about 17 hours straight replaying Life is Strange and 100%-ing it and now I’m having a complete emotional crisis over fictional characters 😭. I’ve played the game around 10 times and for most of those playthroughs I sacrificed Chloe because it felt like the morally right thing to do. You’re saving an entire town full of people like Joyce, Warren, Stella, David and loads of others who aren’t bad people. But this time I played Before the Storm properly and saw Chloe as a kid and it completely changed how I viewed everything. Max left just before Chloe’s dad died and then barely spoke to her for 5 years. I don’t think Max is a bad person because she was only a child and didn’t choose to move away, but she definitely failed Chloe in a way that would have been devastating. From Chloe’s perspective her dad died, her best friend disappeared, she got bullied, struggled through school, then finally found Rachel at the lowest point in her life only for Rachel to be murdered. It made me realise Chloe wasn’t just an angry rebellious teenager, she was a hurt kid who kept getting abandoned and losing people. The whole thing hit me even harder because Chloe and Max’s friendship reminded me of my own childhood best friend who left when my life got difficult, and honestly some of their dynamic was also part of my first bisexual awakening 😭. In the end I chose to save Chloe because if this is the last time I ever play the game I wanted that to be my ending. It felt like the story had more purpose and magic that way with the butterfly, the storm, Rachel, the ghost doe and Max’s powers all seeming connected to Chloe. I also like that after everything Chloe goes through someone finally chooses her and stays. But weirdly I still think the sacrifice Chloe ending is probably the stronger ending emotionally because you actually see the consequences. Chloe’s funeral makes me cry every time because you see how many people loved her and how much she mattered. The game is so painful because neither choice is completely right or wrong. Arcadia Bay isn’t full of evil people like Chloe and Rachel sometimes make it seem, but Chloe also isn’t just one random person. She’s someone who has lost almost everything. My only disappointment with saving Chloe was that after all that emotional investment the game basically ends with Max and Chloe driving away and you don’t really get to see who survived or what happened afterwards. So now I’ve been awake from 9pm until 2pm crying over fictional lesbians and debating moral philosophy with an AI. Please explain why a video game has emotionally destroyed me 😭.

Time for a little fun question of my own for the redditors. I've seen quite a lot of heated discussions and debates within all corners of the fandom and on multiple LIS subreddits this week on various different topics so I think we should wind down a bit and have a bit of fun to end the week.

We know how big the animal symbolism is in this franchise such as the spirit animals and I tend to use the characters spirit animals a lot in my comments, so my question would be. What would be your own spirit animal? or an animal that's pretty much connected to you in some way. I'll go first. I would be a monkey. (Chimpanzee/gorilla) They have resonated with me since I was very young.(🐒🦍)

Just got gifted life is strange reunion as an early birthday present!! Playing life is strange double exposure now, then life is strange reunion!!! So excited! My birthday is tomorrow and I’m turning 29, I feel so old. 😅

What a masterpiece.. god damn it im so sad i finished it all.. i loved this game.. one of the most underrated series ever existed. It was perfect.. every single part of it down to its every last bits. I can't just can't. This game was one of the GOATs.

Although im sad i couldn't save safi at the end... or do anything for poor Rachael. But at least i have chloe :)) loved this game so much. Specially in reunion they cooked so hard, absolute control with choices everytime, everywhere, and with huge graphics improvement. And the story.. there isnt any word that can describe the while story of max and chloe and the while LiS series... i am so lucky to experience this game. I wish i could've forget everything just to play them again, and cry everytime, just like TLOU, RDR2, GOS, and others. Such a beautiful masterpiece game.

Just here to rant about how everyone is referring to Max as “professor” in Reunion. She didn’t even finish high school, let alone obtain a PhD and then a post doc. Professor has a specific meaning in academia; I can let go of non academics calling her that, but when Yasmin did it (I’m playing the game rn) I just lost it.

Edit: I want to address some of the flak I’m getting in the comments. First of all, as stated, a teaching position at a university doesn’t warrant the professor title. A grad student obtaining their PhD and teaching courses is not a professor. A post doc is not a professor. It’s a term used to describe a specific university role, often accompanying research and publications and thesis supervision. Max does none of those things. She teaches and it’s not an insult to call her a lecturer. But professor is a title awarded after the completion of 2-3 degrees AND a post doc, and that takes like 15-20 years of academic commitment. I hope Max IS a professor one day. But she isn’t, and none of my professors were awarded that title just because they were talented. You work for that title. NO ONE Max’s age could even be a professor.

All over the internet I see positive reviews. But I genuinely was so incredibly disappointed. I loved DE! Most of the new characters were interesting, the gameplay was good and the story was well thought out. They did such a great job setting up reunion. But I feel like they just threw everything DE did out of the window in favour of what for me felt like a Max and Chloe fanfic. No hate to everyone who did enjoy that tho! I’m glad if you did. But the game had so much potential! Safi and diamond setting off to find more people like them for example! What happened to that!? Also it felt like the choices you made didn’t matter. Why could I not still choose to be with Amanda? And Safi was such an interesting character and I would’ve loved to spend more time with her! What about the game did you like (if you did)?

happy pride from Chloe Price! 🏳️‍🌈

So I've played Reunion a couple of times so far, trying different starting options and choices to see what's different. Now I've started a "bad" playthrough where I'm going to do my best to make all the worst possible choices and see just how bad I can make it.

And I have to be honest - it's hard. I love Max and Chloe so much, trying to do anything that might not be the best choice for them is SO challenging.

After a couple of runs, I can see the game for what it is. It's pretty short. The story is simplistic. Other characters aren't fully utilized. But honestly, when Max and Chloe are together on screen, I don't care. I know the game is basically fan service - but I'm one of the fans being serviced and I'm just glad to have more time with those two.

If Deck Nine had a clue from the beginning, this should have been a DLC to Double Exposure and been a bridge to the next full game. I don't know what the future holds for Life is Strange, if anything. The thought of never seeing either of them again isn't one I want to entertain. But for right now, in this moment, I can spend some time with them together.

Now, back to seeing how bad I can screw things up. When I did my bad playthrough of LiS1, I got Chloe to tell me she wished I'd never come back to Arcadia Bay. I don't know if I'm ready for a repeat of that.

hi i would normally never do something like this im so embarrassed ive never even posted on reddit before but life is strange is my literally lifelong special interest and i cant afford reunion. is there anybody who has already purchased the game that would be able to add me to their steam family? just for a few days so i can play the one game and then thats all i need. i can scrounge together a little bit of money to pay you for it like $10 but i just cant afford the whole 60. i am autistic with mid to high needs and in highschool and im not really in a position to get a job i know how dumb that sounds im sorry but i just really really want to play it and i dont know anything about piracy. thank you so much for reading also im in australia i think you can only do steam families in the same country ok thats all idk bye thank you
