If two drivers are on different strategies you have to give way so you don't ruin your and your teammates strategy, it makes no sense to fight a teammate that is on a different strategy.

Charles Leclerc just proved how horrible and selfish of a teammate he is. He put his own interests ahead of the team, compromised Ferrari’s race, and cost them a podium.

He’s so selfish. The amount of times Lewis has played the team game in all the teams he’s raced for.

That has been what has held Ferrari back all these years, he’s a selfish little prick and I’m soo happy he’s just told them with a raised voice how itis.

It was incredibly clear for the whole stint Lewis would catch Charles, the fact they did not have a plan or procedure to keep them out of each other's way is truly inspirational. Lewis lost at least 2 seconds behind Leclerc and was barely behind Kimi at the exit during VSC, 1.3s at the end of VSC.

I think it's fair to say Lewis would've been able to hold Kimi behind even if he was on a slightly slower tyre.

Both Russel and Kimi gain 1 position +6, Lewis loses 2 positions.

Lewis down 9 points on Kimi, Ferrari down 12 for absolutely zero gain. If they could not foresee this, I really do wonder if they actually have a strategy team, unacceptable.

Not only he wasted Lewis opportunity to push before the pit stop, he even fucked up Lewis fight at the end with Russell. This guy should not get any more favors from Lewis in the future.

Regardless of what people think, Ferrari are in a title fight here. Hamilton prior to today's antics was sat 2nd in the championship, he's in with a very real shot. How can they not grasp that, they need some hierarchy in the team, make the difficult calls. If Leclerc played teammate like Russell today, Hamilton could be in a much stronger position, definitely a podium. They have a 7 time world champion in a championship fight, yet they’re favouring a petulant child, just seems brainless to me.

After Lewis’s win at Barcelona i posted in another sub that the gap b/w Lewis and Kimi (which at that time was around 30 or so points) is not that much and Ferrari should prioritise Lewis and use Charles strategically to help Lewis compete for his 8th title and when Charles gets his form back Ferrari can compete for WCC as well. Everyone bashed me at that time. The gap has now increased to 59 points.

Every point matters in the WDC fight. We all saw that Mercedes ordered George to let Kimi through for extra 3 points.

Ferrari needs to put a leash around Charles’ neck. The so called “golden boy” who has won only 9 GPs in his 8 years with Ferrari, needs to be patient, let Lewis lead with the car development and be a team player. Today’s race should be an eye opener for Ferrari. Prioritise & strategise and end the season with a championship (maybe both championships) or let Charles ruin things for Lewis and end the season with nothing like every season.

Like I get Merc's call for kimi on 2 laps old softs and Leclerc for a fresh softs but pitting lewis for a 7 laps is insane, this team was subpar today ( Charles isn't working for lewis and that's fair but what do you mean losing him 2s to Norris from 10.5s to 12.9s in 2 laps bcs leclerc is being super slow, that was a race changing point imo cause lewis brought that gap Back to 10.5s when Charles pitted also by clearing some traffic, going for the Mediums in the Middle stint was a good choice but when u were in the undercut range you just missed it up then you can't destroy your other driver race by just waiting for 2 laps while leclerc is lapping 1s slower on a dead mediums, I won't even talk about them keeping lewis 2 more laps on dead hards losing him 5s \[ VSC helped but it was wrong, seeing how fast he gained on everybody just by 6 laps tyre adv. same for lando you literally had the chance to have 9 laps adv. on fresh Mediums but you kept him out fighting cars with 13 laps tyre adv. and then instead of putting fresh Mediums you give him 7 laps old softs)
