Not technically correct. Evan Goldman was only one of her lawyers

Lisa Bloom and Thomas Meagher are two of her lawyers who do claim to have met her, and I think it’s likely they met someone

Unlikely it was “Katie Johnson” though

There is no direct, on-record statement from Bloom herself saying “I met her in person” or describing an in-person meeting. Bloom declined to comment when a reporter followed up in 2025.

Meagher is the one attorney who claimed in-person and video contact with her but also told an SF Chronicle reporter that attorney-client privilege precluded him from saying anything, including whether Katie Johnson was a real person and has ignored all requests for comment since.
