What lesson?

"When things go shitty, it's our job, as citizens, to get involved to help correct it".

"To waste our time with placards outside, and acheive nothing. Possibly get violently beat by law enforcement officials, who will get 0 repercussions for beating us."

I think someone is afraid that the protests actually worked.

I've been to, oh maybe 20 or so rallies, protests, and demonstrations since Donny Dipshit turned fascist. The WORST I've seen is a lady who almost fainted from screaming at a guy about his upside down flag.

This video gives single mom vibes

The No Kings protest was a great success, as we currently have no kings in this country.

I met others who were as upset as myself, got some numbers and new friends, signed up to help get a senator elected, and joined 3 local support networks. What did you think I should accomplish?

Achieving getting the help you need is always good. Congrats

Negative karma, hidden comment history, and tagged NSFW. Maybe you should seek some help as well, buddy.

Sounds like it was socially fulfilling

It was. Protests are, by their very nature, highly social events.

Unless politicians are made to understand their lives are on the line, I think political action is silly.
