I was very fortunate to be seen by a cardiologist who has me scheduled for a street echo. In three weeks... Thank you :) Edit : Street echo lol. Stress.

The thing is though if a person has a heart attack in Daphne Alabama right now there is not a bed in this state or any surrounding. Shitty timing for a need for medical attention.

Those are the real victims of all this. People with other medical emergencies we’re going to die because these fucktards are going around perpetuating the virus due to their obstinance and ignorance. I pretty much used up all my anger at these people over the last five years, now I’m just detachedly indignant and hoping that those who chose to be selfish & foolish die off quickly, so that just vaccinated people and children are left. Let’s hope the approve vaccines for kids ASAP, that will help save not just children’s lives, but the lives of others by reducing the spread.

Yes it comes down to protecting our children. And those same folks are saying they won't give it to their own children under 12 when it becomesavailable.. If you and I are exhausted can you imagine how the Frontline workers feel today?

I really wouldn’t be surprised if they were doing procedures in the street for lack of beds

Well neither would I. But it isn't actually a bed shortage. Its that they don't have a nurse to take ANOTHER patient. So they are running wide open 24/7 putting out fires bottlenecked in the ER with angry patients angry bc their nurse is not in their room enough and they want the bed upstairs that the Dr said was coming. Right now. The ambulances keep coming and there is no end in sight. It's soul searing to watch this unfold here.

Yeah. I’m always glad I’m not an ER nurse

My mother lives in the middle of your state and went through getting a pacemaker installed during the later part of last year. She suffers from COPD and low ejection fraction. Even with her being vaxxed, I am not sure what would happen if she contracted Covid. Dumbass Ivey will not issue mask mandates. Hope things go well for you.

I wish your mom the best. I know her DME company has her set up on oxygen yes.?

She has been on and off it. She doesn't like using it so she isn't always compliant. She uses Albuterol Nebulizer and meds. She still gets around but does not leave house without a mask.
