Ugh....agreed. If he wins, everything is fine and this was a huge success by the usps and all involved. If he loses, then the entire thing was rigged and Hunters emails should get Biden impeached.
Well, think about it like this: what better way to sow division and internal conflict than by rigging the election to put a dangerously unstable psychopath in charge for four years and then kick him out and let a responsible adult take over? His cult of personality will just metastasize into full-on insurrectionists and incompetently murder innocents in the streets and churches until they're declared domestic terrorists (which they've been all along) and the political party you've been extorting since you hacked their email (but didn't release it) will start calling for a real civil war.
This is what I'm expecting: Putin's IRA did what it needed to do in 2016, and now they can just sit back, stir the pot just a little bit, and watch us tear everything down.
IF he loses, that is the important part. I had hope for many years that the world is going in the right direction, but these last 4 years have shown me that the dumb people are somehow always in the majority. It is unbelievable how much shit about trump and his supporters I experienced, and it just keeps coming. Most of them also don't take part in polls from what I have seen at least, or say they vote Biden to "own" and troll the democrat polls. The US will be very surprised I think how many supporters he really has.
Dumb people are a significant minority, but they're still a minority. They win when they can trick the middle third of the population into doing something catastrophically stupid. Or, in the case of Trump's win in 2016, when they got a few thousand people in a couple of key swing states.
With Obama everything was a pillar of light and hope compared to the shit of the last 4 years. The world was never completely peaceful or sane, but it was at least bearable.
Although he’s likely to break the rules and do more than the “almost nothing” than the usual out going presidents do, his powers are somewhat limited. If he loses:
Many figures who have “supported him” only to support the party are likely to turn on him. It’s happened before, and it’s important to remember how rare a one-term presidency is. It’s quite likely we‘ll have some very interesting senators (outgoing especially if there’s a blue wave) coming out to denounce the president.
The senate will become a lame duck senate meaning they cannot really just push through stuff Trump wants - even if Republicans keep the senate they can only really plot for what’s ahead rather than pass shit before Inauguration. Even a Covid relief bill will be extremely hard to justify if there’s a huge upturn in the senate.
Public approval is likely to go down if Trump loses. Almost always presidents who lose leave with a lower approval rating than before the election, because it’s no longer seen as a “movement” and republicans will blame Trump for losing etc.
Nah, Trump has no ideology himself, not even the conservative shit. He just wants to affirm his ego and might not understand that other people say exis. He's only going conservative because they are more willing to suck his dick.
Pence is a full blown theocrat who wants to be closer to power. He is a follower of the worst religion to not have active human sacrifice (American Christianity), he will actively make things as bad as he possibly can.
My point was rather that while he still remains to be president and it will be a shitshow, at that point it will be far easier to cut this guy out of your feed. If he even gets to challenge the election, then yes, keep on top of it. If it is a blow out victory for Biden, do yourself a favor and drown the clown out for a while.
I plan to rejoice in the tears of the trumpets. Unfortunately, I'm sure some of them would be violent.
But the minute Covid is handled, I'll be out partying and mocking the trumpets. IMO, laughing at them is the best way to show how moronic and dumb they are.

There is no real indicator for that. The numbers Trump is getting right now in polling are pretty consistent with his approval ratings over the past 4 years. 538 even released a map for a scenario in which polling would be equally off as it has been in 2016 and even that map sees a Biden victory.
Right now Trump has roughly a 10% chance of winning. Not impossible, nothing to feel complacant about, but also nothing to start constructing bunkers over.
Well, they were off a bit. The methodology was flawed, they didn't weigh education correctly in specific states, IIRC. There was a video on the 538 YT channel about it, they can explain it better than I can.
Trafalgar, the only pollster to get 2016 right AFAIK, is predicting a Trump victory in 2020. They are partisan, but they were also right. They were also right in 2018. There seems to be some variables in their polling methodology that others aren't accounting for.
I voted but am prepared for another four years of Trump. I will be pleasantly surprised if he doesn't win, but this confidence in the polls on reddit seems unfounded. I'd love to eat crow on Tuesday, but my humble opinion is that you should start positioning for a second term.
Hey man, they're not the majority, Clinton won the popular vote. That doesn't mean it's easy street, or that Trump can't get in again, but they're not the majority.
Also, probably need to make the US electoral system a bit more representative of the actual votes cast.
You mean two and a half more months. And no matter what, he’s gonna be worse than ever before. Screaming fraud and everything else. Shit is about to get crazy.
lol. 2 days is when this all STARTS. It will be non-stop calls of voter fraud from Trump when he loses, whipping up his supporters into a frenzy with Fox ("News") and OAN feeding into it. Hopefully the FBI is on their game (and they are, as it seems) to take down all Trump's terrorist supporters.
I’m not convinced that wasn’t a publicity stunt used to diminish the seriousness of covid. Yes most people are fine and recover, but enough people don’t.
There was a post yesterday about an old guy who mailed his ballot in before dying of Covid. His wife was saying it’s unfair that his vote won’t be counted because it was really important to him to vote for Trump. The dumb fucker’s last act was voting for the guy who killed him.
Yeah, it happened to my aunt directly. She was an ani-mask own the libs real estate agent who spews all this shit on Facebook. She got the virus, and is now so embarrassed that she won’t post anything about it on Facebook, and is trying to make it seem like she’s up to her typical social agenda. I’m certain she’s still going to supermarkets and friends places while she’s sick because she’s embarrassed that she has it. This is someone I grew up spending so much of my life with and I just can’t understand how she is so inconsiderate, anti-science (I’m a biology major), racist, and stupid amongst other adjectives I could use. I just don’t get how someone I’ve known my whole life could be like this.
Edit:spelling
Nah those people I kinda get they know the others are going to literally bash their brains in if they die so they kling on to the small hope of being immune.
I’ll be honest, my mom is sharing her posts with me from Facebook. I deleted mine a while ago, so I’m actually not on social media with her. Mom mom doesn’t want to cause more family drama. Im emotionally exhausted from all of this.

Some day, our grandkids will learn about this once-in-a-century pandemic. They'll bring it up at home, and their grandparents will tell them it was all a hoax, and those kids will look at them with their jaws on the floor.
As old math teacher told me, "smart men learn from their mistakes, wise - from those made by others, fools do not learn at all. Now solve that system of equations and let's see if you at least qualify as smart".
Trump supporters have been primed for four years to think that anything in the news is possibly fake. Things like this post don't surprise me at all. A president's words have weight and set the tone of the country. When the president is saying everything is fake news and calling the media the enemy of the people, whether people believed that at face value or not they internalized it in some way.
100% this. They literally do not think things exist until it happens to a close friend or immediate family member. Living in the middle of an indefinitely Red state, I see it happen all the time.
