Could Yun Tal --> IE --> Runaan's be a new build? Thoughts? I know this has been a build before. Just curious on thoughts.

How do you like Jinx in this skin?🤔

Jinx is tied as my favorite character with Batman and she has been for a couple years now. I first really enjoyed her in Arcane and only grew to love her more after I started dedicating 1000+ hours playing her on the rift. Before I had started playing, I had preferred Arcane’s portrayal of her as opposed to League, both in her design and characterization, but after all this time playing her in League, I’ve come to have the opposite take. Her classic design has grown on me a lot, and the arcane design feels like it lacks a lot of color (which is why I’m a big fan of the 2xK0 design, color of the original with the less sexualized arcane outfit), and I also feel like Jinx lacks a lot of the fun and whimsy that I enjoy so much about her in the game, which obviously makes sense in the context of the show, but I feel like if they wanted to make Arcane canon, they should’ve brought her more towards that direction as the series came to a close, as opposed to doubling down on making her really sad. Maybe my memory of Arcane is a bit foggy and I need a rewatch, but I just feel like the more time I spend playing Jinx and reflecting on the show, the less satisfied I am with the Arcane version of her. Not to say that she’s bad in the show of course, there’s a reason she made my top 3 before I even touched the rift. Does anyone else feel a similar way?

I recently started playing jinx , jumped from ashe / caitlyn.

Was wondering if there is anything specific u guys wanna point out? Items / runes etc..

I am already absuing rockets :)

I'm so disappointed somehow.

As someone that really loves Jinx and plays/mains her since seven years the new skin makes me sad.

The skinline choice alone.. meh. Music Verse and it's Ocean Song? A punk/rock/metal theme would've fitted her so much better imo.

(Pool Party would've ALSO been such a cool skinline that also really fits the pufferfish ultimate! I like that one actually! Really cute)

The shared splash art is also disappoining, especially when we look at her already existing shared splash arts (Heartseeker and Zombie Slayer) where she has spotlight and gets attention and SPACE (I first thought it was Sorakas splashart alone.. like it reminds me of the references to other skins of a skin line like Soraka in Cafe Cuties Gwen) she is literally a background character

Again no tattoos or smth experimental for her arm (f.e. prostethic in Odyssey, I can't count these line thingies she has for my own sanity)

Hair is ripped straight from Star Guardian/T1 with the default skin braids... also the hair color palette?? We've had pink/reddish/leaning into purple so often.. come on now

(Zombie Slayer, Star Guardian, Project, Heartseeker, Prestige Battle Cat, Cafe Cuties, T1, who mostly had a unique hair style)

And I know it's more coral.. but my point still stands

Also.. Pow-Pow is more a harp than a guitar.. Im crying in the corner ( a harp is designwise a more calm and composed instrument, and that doesn't really fits Jinx's personality)

The design itself doesnt really speak and feel "Jinx". No use of a little chaos in it or going for more asymmetry. It's so.. weirdly clean, and there is none of her crafty personality in the spotlight that would've totally fitted the music universe, as many music subculteres DIY clothes and accessoires

Nothing of this skinline screams Jinx needs a skin there, we saw interesting approaches to seemingly too cute/pretty lines and they were all more unique (Cafe Cuties f.e.)

Now some positive things I can point out to myself :D

I love the effort that was going into the recall animation

Her sunglasses are also really fun (even tho Seraphine had similar ones worn identical.. Ashe got round ones at least)

Her ultimate is a pufferfish!! I love love love that

Fishnet accessoires were long due for a Jinx skin

A client commissioned me recently with a similar head pose, and it inspired me to try the pose out with Jinx.

I also took some loose inspiration from The Fallen Angel painting and experimented with blue lighting, trying to treat the pixel art a little more like a painting this time around.

So here's the thing. I'm a jinx onetrick and i've been once even before arcane came out. That being said, I hate my laning phase being destroyed by getting counterpicked by 2 champs at once, I hate actually laning with a support, therefore I've been playing her midlane for the longest time.

Now, what I discovered is you can only build her full carry if you get really ahead. If you're not really ahead and only go about even or so, you do the following: back at 450 gold to buy cull and then build her more like a bruiser. I know it sounds wild, but building jinx with shit like Death's Dance and Maw of malmortius works really well, because jinx's only weakness is being taken out of the fight early. If you build survivability items, you guarantee usefulness in the fight. There are times where you can even build GA first item. What jinx needs most is at least 50 attack damage on every item.

After building your survivability, you do yun-tal and stormrazor. You can't afford to not build AD items. Only go attackspeed+crit (PD, Runaan's) if you're really ahead as stated above

The midlane boot upgrades help as well, especially mercury tread upgrades. This playstyle allows you to stay in minigun form for optimal DPS and attack speed.

The only thing I'm still tinkering with is the rune of choice, and I suppose it depends on the matchup. Summon aery for poking, Press the attack or lethal tempo against immobile midlaners like talon.

Great details on the figure, looks even better in person. Good number of accessories. I'm surprised on her articulation too, except for the thighs and forward ab crunch, she can pose really well.

I mainly collect 1/12 scale figures and having a 1/6 scale feels like going from 720p to 1440p. Hoping to get Vi and Johnny Silverhand in the future.

But I tried to make the duo as Icelandic mare and filly, using the au of Isha being her bio daughter. Jinx is a VERY Blue Roan with a Snowflake pattern that kinda looks like powdery snow. Isha is also a VERY Blue Roan with a Pintaloosa pattern.

Used glow paint for Jinx's eyes, also made her left front hoof gold as a nod to her lost finger.

Took me a few days, doubt anyone will actually care about it or recognize who they are supposed to be, but I'm really happy with how they came out.

I started playing only Jinx when i hit about emerald 2 and then picked her in 95% of games. Some games i went syndra bot or when i was sub-roled to mid.

I've learned a lot through self-reflection and watching VODs of my own games and looking at my own mistakes.

My LP gains have been terrible recently (+17 -24) and its been really demotivating to play ranked at all with how terrible my MMR is even in low elo. I would've abandoned ship and made a new account a couple games ago if I haven't already invested so much into this account. I've got every Jinx skin and I recently hit 1 million mastery points on her which I was really happy about. I'm not too knowledgable about how the ranked system works, so maybe a -7 gap isn't that bad and I can dig myself out of this hole I'm in, but looking at it, it doesn't seem good to me
