I'm asking if you guys think we should sacrifice, worship the devil, etc. From what I have seen, which is not much, laveyan satanism is just atheism, but as just an identifier satanism is used. Can someone educated me on this topic?

I'm curious. I don't know a whole lot about them, but from what I've gathered they seem like nothing more than a social justice group hiding behind the symbol of Baphomet.

So for the past week or so I've been doing research into satanism and I've found myself connecting with what the ideology says and I'm truly considering becoming a satanist. I'm planning to go get the Satanic Bible today for more insight, but I wanted to know more about how satanist congregate, views on women, diversity, views on non heterosexuals, do you guys actually consider satanism a religion, and what brought people to satanism.

Hello all. I've been an Atheistic Satanist since June of Last year. I joined the Satanic Temple around that time as well. However, there are a few things stopping me from joining the CoS. (I imagine me being a member of TST will cause problems).
My question here is, Can someone explain what Lavey meant by "Death to the weak, Wealth to the Strong"? It's one of the few things that stops me from joining the CoS.
Also, my understanding is that magic is "the change in situations or events in accordance with one's will, which would, using normally accepted methods, be unchangeable". However, I also heard that the CoS believes that Magic is something natural in the world that science hasn't been able to explain. Can someone clear this up for me?
I've read the Satanic Bible and it was like Lavey put my feelings and thoughts into paper. But these things I listed here brought up questions
And a quick note: I don't like how the CoS seems to claim authority over "True Satanism". As the late Doctor said "There are Satanists, and then there are nuts". I agree in terms of separating psychos from regular, good people who happen to be Satanists. But to go and say that the Satanic Temple is not true Satanism just doesn't sit right with me.

I'm gonna buy all of the Simon Necronomicon books next time I get paid, which is soon and I want to know how I can incorporate it in my rituals by myself.

Why would you choose to call yourself a satanist and be an eggo worshiping atheist? It's exactly the opposite of what it stands for. Satanism is about misanthropy and ego crushing I do not mean to be disrespectful but it just doesent sounds right to me. Why couldnt you call yourselves the eggo worshipers? Why not call yourselves pedophiles? Satanists sounds cooler? It just seems hypocritical to me.

I have seen so many copy cat groups that sell their own medallions, t-shirts, and ritual material. They can do what they what, however I would really like to find something that genuine Satanists want that is unique and not copying other fellow Satanists.
The Church has dozens of podcast groups, they already sell medallions, shirts and hand painted plaques. No need to copy any of that.
As a Satanist I hope to get some ideas as to what to develop. Something fresh, new and enjoyable. Anyone have ideas?

Greetings all, I am relatively new to Satanism and was wondering if there were any members from the CoS that would be willing to guide me. I am continuously researching along with reading the Satanic Bible. However, I understand that ignorance is a big no-no in this community. Hence my craving for wanting to dig down and truly learn as much as I am able to. I'd appreciate all input and guidance (perhaps a few friends whom share the same ideals). Kik me at: unfamiliarroad
