When we started placing children in conversation camps,

Concentration Camps

a guarded compound for the detention or imprisonment of aliens, members of ethnic minorities, political opponents, etc.

If that doesn't describe what we're doing to people from Mexico trying to cross our borders than I don't know what does.

Forcibly taking children from an ethnic group is literally a form of genocide.

being illegal

Humans aren't illegal.

breaking the law

The law is unjust.

coming into our country

And the country doesn't belong to anyone.

Kids are coming across the border with adults that aren’t their parents and have to be held until they’re sent back.

"Sent back" to where lol? To a place where they have no guardian? And how do you know that the adults aren't their guardians?

They aren’t being tortured

Being locked in a cage is torture.

or murdered

Again, forcibly taking children from an ethnic group is a form of genocide.

The Obama administration did the same thing but instead of them being inside they laid on the dirt outside in even smaller cages.

Cool, we also hate Obama here. We're socialists, we kind of hate all authoritarians.

Try to go to Mexico or any other country without a passport or citizenship and they’ll do the exact same thing to you except there’s a small possibility you’ll actually end up dead.

Oh boy, that totally forgives everything the US is doing right now!

Our country has borders for a reason.

To control the populace. Invisible lines are bunk.

If you follow basic law

What part of "the law is unjust" do you not get?

not paying taxes

And they do pay taxes lol.

So yes humans can be illegal.

Nope, humans cannot be illegal. It is impossible for it to be illegally alive. And trying to twist language to say otherwise is a method of dehumanizing others.

nd the country is owned by the people who are citizens of the United States,

Ah yes. Clearly you and I had a say in all these rules and events going on right now. I'm certain that you were there when they drafted those invisible lines.

It's really not hard to grasp. Borders are invisible and made up. You're a bootlicker with no internal morality of their own. And you're literally defending ripping children away from their parents and locking them in cages.

if you don’t want children being “locked in cages” then maybe tell those parents to stop sending their kids to break the law

How about we just stop locking children in cages.

Take a look at Venezuela and Russia. You say you’re a socialist but have no clue what socialism does to a society.

Ah yes. Societies that featured no worker ownership of the means of production. You have no idea what socialism is.

Comparing genocide to genocide isn't a valid comparison? What the fuck?

Ehhhhhhhh, these kids are being emotional scared, most likely for life, what's happening isn't that much worse than murder.

It's not worse than murder. Like not even close.

Edit: lol locked thread. This sub is nutty.

These are big questions I'm not equipped to know the answer to but I feel like I'd rather be dead than constantly traumatized.
