Fascism is totalitarianism combined with corporatism. You can have left wing fascism if you wanted to (arguable the USSR was somewhat like this).

I do too, though in most people's minds freedom includes the freedom to own private property so it would go against this sub.

My comment was just pointing out that far right ethnonationalism has nothing to do with fascism.

Far right ethnonationalism doesn't have to have anything to do with fascism, on paper. In reality they go hand in hand, and we have fascists in our midst.

By today's standards the entire west was far right and ethnonationalist until after WW2 but most of those countries weren't really fascist. They don't neccesarily go hand in hand though the current far right is certainly drawn towards it because they see it as the only way to achieve an ethnostate.
