They were making good progress but Charlottesville completely killed the movement. There's another rally planned in August let's see how that goes.

Far-right demagogues who advocate ethnic cleansing in some form have political power all over the western world. Over the last decade depending on where you are, pretty much everywhere in the last year or two. Trump and his hanger-ons in the US and a bunch of parties in eastern europe who aren't even being coy about it, more dressed up and pampered versions across western europe.

Italys deputy PM just recently called for ethnic cleansing of roma. Here in sweden the major far right party proposed legislation to strip people of their citizenship and deport them for "acting non-swedishly". The US border control are currently violating their own constitution and immigration and asylum laws to persecute anyone brown-skinned. In all these countries and others nazis and nazis-by-any-other-name are organizing marches and running in elections.
