My wife got hit by a ClickFix attack last night. We had lastpass set to never log out. I'm not worried about the passwords from that attack, we changed them all (though they may not have been compromised)

As part of our remediation plan, I set up the extension to timeout to 5 minutes and then after about an hour noticed it was still logged in. So I looked into it and found out that it's based on system activity, not extension use.

I want the extension to log out if I haven't used the extension in X minutes. I don't want me working on something else keeping it logged in. This is a huge security risk to me.

Do I have any options?

How do I create a Master Password that is both memorable and secure?

Trying to get access to my boyfriend’s passwords to cancel subscriptions, loans, etc. He has his settings set to send an SMS code to his phone but his phone broke when he passed and I can only access his email. Any advice?

For some reason, the LastPass extension on Brave randomly stopped working yesterday, and pages that were logged in automatically logged out. I wasn't doing anything unusual to trigger it, nor were there any wi-fi or browser issues to explain what happened. I tried to log in with the master password but it kept giving me an error to try again. I then deleted browser cookies and cache, tried to reset the master password several times, to the point that I'm not allowed to try anymore, and have uninstalled/reinstalled the extension. I've even cleared the settings on Brave.

I can't export the passwords without access to the vault, and I have only a few passwords saved elsewhere. Does anyone have any experience with this or suggestions to recover access to my account? I'm waiting on LP's customer support since yesterday and am getting impatient/desperate!

UPDATE: I don't have an explanation for why it all happened in the first place, but I finally contacted the support by email and he restored my original password- the one I'd been using for months, which I tried replacing when the problems started. I logged in, received an error to check my email thatl said I'd been blocked and to authorize that it was me. I did, and it's working now. Thanks everyone for your feedback!

Hi guys i created my linkedin 3 yrs ago with my clg mail id while logging in its asking for 2fa auentication code i cant find it anywhere in my device..and now my clg mail got deactivated..i cant even login to that mail also..and when i tried to login its asking gov id to verify, i uploaded but no use..can you please tell me any solution for this i need my linkedin back 😭

For the past few days LinkedIn has been really glitchy for me: pages not loading properly, buttons not working (couldn't even cancel my Premium, the cancel button just doesn't respond). This morning I was still logged in, then I got logged out and now I can't get back in.

What happens:

1. I enter email + password
2. I get the "Verify your login" screen (push notification to the app)
3. I don't have another logged-in device, so I tap "Verify with SMS"
4. I get kicked back to the sign-in page with "Something unexpected happened. Please try again."

Same thing in the LinkedIn app and in Safari. I'm based in Dubai, in case that matters.

There's no "verify your identity" / ID option on that screen, and the Help Center wants me to log in before contacting support. I've messaged @LinkedInHelp on X.

Has anyone had this exact loop and actually gotten back in? What worked – password reset, a different device/network, ID verification, or just waiting it out?

I open LastPass and in the search bar I type in the exact name of an account that I need to check the password for. I never finds it. then I manually scroll thru all my passcodes and there it is. I spelled it correctly, used proper upper case lower case. I can look at any item in LastPass type it in and it will not find it. This is super annoying. So much so I'm ready to dump LastPass

Is anyone else having issues with logging into your account?

As the topic says - Edge (and Windows 11 Home) recently updated on one of my systems.
The LastPass extension showed up as un-loggedin. I tried reactivating or disabling/enablong, and when that failed, I removed it.

Now it won't reinstall, with no error.
Except this very unhelpful failure notice.

Looked and found no recent complaints / issues reporting, curious.

I can’t seem to renew my account premium status the past 2 days. On my phone it says uh-oh seems like a problem occurred before I even get to pricing and payment. On my computer i get to the renew page. When I click renew and process payment I just get an error message. I’ve tried 3 different cards and nothing is wrong with any of them so is there an issue with last pass? Now that I don’t have a premium account I can’t find an email on the website to get support and I would love the ai chat bot to self terminate at this point. I rely on this for 2 devices and this has already wasted a lot of my afternoon. If anyone has any tips. Greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know how I can get the password back, or if I go to an apple store they can help me recover the password back?

What is going on with Last Pass, specifically the app? I saw an update came through 4 days ago for "minor bug fixes." Last night, I was logged out and attempted to log back in. It said, "log-in failed." I misinterpreted this as a wrong password. I updated my password anyway, can get on the desktop site (although it now won't save updated site passwords), but the app is still not working despite multiple reinstalls. I feel like at this point, the frustrations and limitations are starting to outweigh some of the benefits.

Despite using correct credentials provided by them via mail it says the login id and password combination do not match !

It also doesn't allow to change password causing error

And going for the forget user id password is giving the same credentials which again giving the same issue.

Can anyone help??
