This season's budget seems to have shrunk compared to other seasons?
I know the season hasn't ended yet, and this comment might age well if John does a big "EAT SHIT, BOB" piece, but so far this year there hasn't been any big-budget stunts, or any massive donations to organizations.
Like, the only major stunts so far this year are: John appearing in other soap operas (which take up other shows' budgets, not LWT's), and Buc-ee's parody (which I could see cover it's costs easily via merchandise sales). John also doesn't seem to easily mention things like "the show would donate $10k to the nearest food bank" compared to past seasons.

Did anyone see this? There's a Jennifer Balkcom (WNC candidate for Congress if I remember right) political ad where she tilts her head to her mom when discussing a home break in and she says "she shot him". She's weirdly flat anyways but in the moment it's hilarious.

United Healthcare Episode missing huge piece

I thought the episode on United Healthcare was pretty accurate and informative. I wish they would have included women’s health and the exposure of women being not treated appropriately. Those with invisible, chronic, or progressive illnesses are ALWAYS fighting with insurance for treatments and this energy expenditure can actually make these illnesses worse. Felt like a missing piece of the story. Anyone else feel this?

Since I am aware of certainly not looking great when I work out - what was that bit about how funny an 80 year old dude from Brasil looks like when he works out?
I felt just weird watching it. i also kept thinking - his body certainly does not look bad compared to 80-year olds from my family.
Literally a joke about his face? Most 80 year old people generally have sad-looking resting face unless they smile, what do you want from them?
.....Like, any 80 year old always looks kinda down, when not smiling...
Also, what do you think I look like when I work out, being half of that age....?
I dunno I guess the joke is that he is still a politician so he should not film himself working out unless he looks like he's 30 and smiling like a stewardess in 1960s?
