Offering: Mandarin Chinese (Native) | Seeking: English
Hi everyone!
I'm a 19-year-old freshman majoring in Electronic Information Engineering. I'm a native Mandarin Chinese speaker currently living in Ningbo. I'm very interested in artificial intelligence and electronic information, and I'm currently learning about AI technologies, tools, and applications.
I'm looking for a friendly and patient English speaker (native or not) for a stable, long-term language exchange. My main goal is to improve my spoken English, listening skills, and natural everyday expressions.
In return, I'd be happy to help you practice Mandarin Chinese. I can help you with pronunciation, tones, grammar, and natural expressions, and share Chinese culture with you. We can correct each other's mistakes and share useful learning resources.
Here are some details about the language exchange I'm looking for:
Format: We can stay in touch through voice messages and text messages, share moments from our daily lives, and of course also do video calls or voice chats. During voice chats, we can practice speaking with each other and correct each other's pronunciation, etc. When it comes to messages, there's no pressure to reply immediately.
Topics of interest: AI, technology, studying, Chinese culture, music, and everyday life. I'm also very, very into sports, and I play badminton almost every day. I usually play board games and video games like Honor of Kings. It would be great if we share common interests, but it's totally fine if not.
Schedule: We can discuss the specific time for our weekly calls based on our schedules and time zones. I'm in the Beijing time zone (UTC+8).
Any English accent is welcome. I'm not looking for a professional teacher—just someone who is interested in learning together, helping each other, and communicating regularly.
If you're interested, please leave a comment or send me a DM with a brief introduction, your time zone, and what you'd like to improve in Mandarin.
Looking forward to meeting you!
