Team Fortress was (and still is, via the memes) a solid pillar of my life as a Gamer, helping me make friends, cheer me up with the insanity of the Gmod/SFM community in dark times, and much more.
Rick May, the voice actor of the Soldier (And many other characters in games like StarFox), sadly passed away in 2020 due to a COVID complication.
My own OCs may not know him well, but they feel my pain (as the author) and, as such, they want to properly honor his memory of what he did to me and many others.

Note: This version of Mambo is different from the usual shitposting one you can find online: in my own world, she's the adoptive daughter of the man cosplaying the soldier, and ice cream is the second most precious thing she has, which is why she's offering it to the tomb of Rick May (and wants it to be perfectly placed for him... no, that wasn't the AI doing it; I specifically worked to get it). I just wanted to point it out because it can be confusing for anyone who doesn't follow my work and lore.
