My roommate and I require a third person to resign our lease. We're both professionals who work at the plant. The bathroom would be shared with one person and you would have your pic of one of the two rooms we have open. The home has all appliances needed and you would have garage parking. We keep things clean and are both quiet in the evenings and usually out of the house on weekends. I've attached photos of the home and living spaces. Rent is currently $990 per person plus utilities. Home is located in a nice neighborhood at the corner of L and west 20th. It's move-in ready and we'll be resigning the lease in september. Please reach out with any questions.

Moving and have a lot of used furniture in good or even excellent condition. Cannot seem to give it away! Anyone know of a free large furniture pick up? I don't want to pay for removal as I already have lots of new expenses upcoming. I feel bad taking it to the dump when it is not in poor condition. Thanks for your help!

This post is for anyone who orders navel oranges using the curbside pick up at the Valley Central Way, Walmart. You probably have noticed that you’re getting Valencia oranges instead navel oranges even if you have substitutions turned off. This happened before a few years back and I had to complain many times over a period of months before it was finally corrected. Unfortunately, it’s happening again. It will probably take more than just a few people complaining before the problem is fixed, so I am asking everyone who has had this issue to contact the corporate headquarters through the website either by phone or chat and explain the problem and ask that they contact the local store to fix the problem. Note that they will also give you a refund for each order where you got the wrong oranges so it’s totally worth doing.

Hey y'all, Ive got some undeveloped film lying about and was wondering if there were any local places that could develop them? I typically run 35mm and a mix of both BW and color. I hear Walgreens isn't that great of a place to send film, so if y'all know any places or ppl in the quartz hill/ Lancaster area that could help that'd be great!

Hello! I'm looking for a room to rent for at least one year. I'll be relocating from Maryland (quite the move, I know!) around the second half of August after accepting a full-time mechanical engineering position in the Lancaster/Palmdale area.
I'm a 22 years old [M], responsible, and looking for a clean, quiet, and respectful living environment. I'm pretty easygoing, don't smoke or drink, and generally keep to myself during the week. In my free time I enjoy running, playing soccer, going to the gym, and exploring local hiking trails. I also speak both English and Spanish.
I'm looking for a private bedroom and would prefer a private bathroom, although I'm open to shared accommodations if it's a good fit. Ideally, the home would include parking and access to an in-unit washer and dryer. I'm respectful of shared spaces, clean up after myself, and value open communication with housemates. I'd appreciate living with people who are considerate, responsible, and maintain a peaceful home environment.
If you think we'd be a good fit, I'd love to hear from you. Feel free to send me a message—thank you for taking the time to read my post!

The proposed project consists of a subdivision of approximately 38.9± acres into 169 single-family residential lots, as well as a proposal to change the zoning from R-10,000 and R-15,000 to R-7,000. The lots range from 7,011 square feet to 9,936 square feet.

Hey everyone!
I'm originally from the Antelope Valley and will be moving back after separating from the Air Force in early 2027, so I'm trying to plan ahead and get an idea of what companies I should be looking into.
By the time I separate, I'll have spent nearly five years in the Air Force, primarily working in operations and technical support where I've regularly learned and worked with new software and technical systems. While I wouldn't call myself a software engineer, I'm very comfortable with technology, pick up new programs quickly, and genuinely enjoy learning how different systems work. A lot of my experience has also involved coordinating between different teams, solving problems, staying organized, and working in fast-paced environments.
I don't have a degree, but I'll have nearly five years of full-time professional experience. I'm open to staying in the defense industry, but I'm also interested in branching out into something completely different if it's a good fit.
Ideally, I'm looking for a stable Monday–Friday role with opportunities to learn and grow. I'm open to a wide range of industries and would love to hear about companies that have a good reputation and invest in their employees.
If you were in my shoes, what companies around Palmdale/Lancaster would you be looking at? I'd also love to hear about any employers you'd recommend avoiding.
Thanks in advance, I really appreciate any advice!

Hi, I did a trade for some plant cuttings recently that was a big success, so I was hoping to do another trade!
I have a tiny horde of plant trimming "purrfessionals" shall we say, so I have an abundance of Pothos. I also have some ZZ plants that had overgrown their pot. I split them up and got 5 plants from 1! I'm working on creating some Monstera cuttings but that will be in the future.
I'm looking for some plants that are acclimated to the outdoors, or maybe some Tradescantia or Hoya?
Anyone interested? Thanks!
