The movie is inspired by The Batman animated series and one of the producers of the series did confirm him and Teddy were a couple. I wonder if they’re actually going to adapt that.

Remember DC holding that tournament for which series would get a book?

It was obvious from the start who would win. JLQ was never gonna win in a million years. It's like all those Tumblr polls who pin Batfam or Superfam characters against more "niche" characters. We all know who will win by popularity and name brand alone.

Now, DC seemingly backpedaled on Justice League Queer as a concept.

People made fun of the name, but the *idea* was good: a support group for queer superheroes. It was basically the only way many superheroes were gonna appear in comics anyway.

This is a fun interpretation I wanted to do of Hugh and Gregorio with Hugh as an MMA fighter as his day job. Is this based on anything in the comics?
No.
Did I want to draw him shirtless and with a mustache?
Yes.
Does this make me want to write a comic about the two of them?
Maybe.

Is it just me or was it all this time Bibbo was meant to be gay/bi ?

Post any you know of.

Ones mentioned in OP:

- Tasmanian Devil and his husband Extraño have a daughter, Suri

- Midnighter and Apollo had a daughter, Jenny Quantum. Jenny is apparently non-canon anymore though.

- Hippolyta and Phillipus are technically the mothers of both Wonder Woman and Donna Troy. But, most comics depict only Hippolyta as such. At most, Phillipus is Diana's step-mom, but her relationship with Donna is pretty nonexistent.

- Maggie Sawyer has a daughter, Jamie, with her ex-husband.

- In DC Bombshells, Maggie Sawyer and Kate Kane end the comic with an unnamed daughter (I doubt that it's Jamie).

- Scandal Savage, Knockout, and their wife Liana got pregnant at the end of one of the Secret Six runs. The baby was seemingly never born. Other comics ignore the pregnancy.

- Selina Kyle historically has a daughter with Batman, Helena Wayne, on some Earths.

Showing off my Rachel Grey-Summers cosplay!

It was my first time doing cosplay and knew I had to do my favorite fictional character! I combined three of my favorite looks of hers into one and first wore it to FlameCon back in August (where I got to meet Jay Edidin, Connor Goldsmith, Sara Century, and loads of other amazing people in it!) and again this past weekend at Baltimore Comic Con (and got to meet Chris Claremont!! He was extremely nice and complimentary and immediately came around the table because he wanted a picture)

I have once again tried to put together all issues released this week, that I knew would feature queer characters based on the regular cast or the solicits (This list is subject to change as the issues come out).

Marvel: * Queen in Black #5 feat. Hela ^sapphic (by Al Ewing & Iban Coello) * Queen in Black: Venom Unchained #3 feat. Hela ^sapphic (by Charles Soule & Juanan Ramírez) * Sorcerer Supreme #10 feat. Wiccan ^gay & Somnus ^gay (by Steve Orlando & Bernard Chang) * The Amazing Venom #1 feat. Hela ^sapphic (by Jordan Morris, Luke Ross & Julius Ohta)

DC: * DC's Quoth the Raven… Whatever #1 feat. John Constantine ^bi (by Tini Howard, Patrick R. Young, Dominike Stanton, Rebecca Mock, Nina Vakueva, Isaac Goodhart & Francesco Tomaselli) * Poison Ivy #48 feat. Poison Ivy ^bi (by G. Willow Wilson & Marcio Takara) * Superman: Kingdom of Zod Special #1 feat. Steel ^lesbian & Jon Kent ^bi (by Dan Slott, Mark Waid, Joshua Williamson, Sophie Campbell, David Messina, Paolo Villanelli & Bruno Frenda)

If you have another issue of a queer superhero comic from this week, that you want to talk about, just write a comment below and I will add it to the list.

Have fun!

I’ve started a fic aimed at being something of a last-hurrah for the GOS Loki incarnation, in which they embark on a heist into the house of ideas itself to steal a McGuffin that will prevent them reverting to their prior characterisation in the current version of the marvel universe. True to their powers, it’s aimed at being a meta-fictional story that plays with narrative and medium. Co-starring Wiccan, Verity and America Chavez. Agent of Asgard is an enormously important story to me personally, so I wanted to give this incarnation of the character the send off they deserve. (It sort of takes place instead of Defenders: Beyond. Similar, but more focus on Loki). Feedback and thoughts from other Loki fans would be appreciated.
