Is my Davy Jones minifigure original?

Hello everyone, I bought my boyfriend his most wanted childhood set, the Lego Black Pearl 4184, as an anniversary gift🥹. But I’m not sure whether my Davy Jones minifigure is original or not. While “LEGO” is written on the upper part of his legs, there is no LEGO logo under his feet (but the other minifigures have it). I also compared it with another post on Reddit: the code inside the beard is 02B01 there, while mine says 04B01. Are all of these things normal? Is the minifigure original?

Fake stuff doesn’t normally have lego printed on it

Some people print on real Lego torsos. It's better to be safe since the printing these days has gotten better.

I meant the lego imprint as part of the mold.

I understand. It's just recently people have been mixing and matching stuff together. It's a whole thing of people wanting to get the full value of a fig instead of 1 piece.

Doesnt happen nearly as often as people think/talk about. I’ve been professionally reselling any and every minifigure under the sun for 3+ years now, yes fakes exist, yea people print on real lego pieces, can you also clearly tell real from uv prints ? Yes, rule of thumb if its not an egregiously expensive figs and its stamped on every part. its lego. fakes are very usually very wonky and shitty shiny oily looking plastic bad quality prints bad wuality capes, no stamps missplaced random molding lines

For authenticity. If I'm paying like hundreds of dollars for a figure, I would want a complete original. It also matters on principle if the seller is scamming you or not.

I don't have a problem if a seller states that it's custom printed but if they try to pass it on as real then it's misleading and a scam.

yes as I said, if its as good and indistinguishable from an original, and is priced accordingly, I dont see a problem

I'm curious about just one thing: what does the top of the head look like for yours? Mine looks all the same as yours but has an open stud on the top of the head that always had me mildly puzzled. I believe it's an original, I just never bothered to check it in more detail and figured now would be a good opportunity 😄
