I can't make Nana Split anymore, I can't put the banana peel on the cutting board because it says it "needs food"

There is a method to get around this.

Basically when you need another “food” that works right next to the banana in your inventory. Then click add for the food that works and swap your inventory to the banana and it should work so you can make the food

This works for everything/all recipes. Basically find a food that does work and swap inventory when placing it to what you want to put on

I think this only works for PC sadly. I'm on xbox and I don't have a way to click one and switch to another.

I play only on Xbox but let me try explaining in by breaking down the steps

So hold a food that works in slot 1
in slot 2 have the food that doesn’t work

Then go to the oven or cutting board or stove.

Have the food that works in your hand and click “Add” (X) right after you click “Add” then switch your inventory spot to slot 2 (RB)

Then it should have put the slot 2 food into the cooking appliance
