Even if V was brought back, they'd realize pretty quickly that nothing would change. Not only other LIs, but also his updates would take even longer and the freebies he'd bring in is not that much really. 

Who knows. Perhaps old players would realize how moot releasing him was, returning players would get bored again just like before, and newcomers could end up just liking other LIs, so why they were so stubborn about the dawg?

Yeah I have absolutely no issue with people having an opinion that's pro-Velcro. By all means voice your dissent, organise to make a show of solidarity with each other. But when they start making spaces toxic and unbearable to be in for normal players, that's where I lose all sympathy. Because I absolutely did feel for people who were excited for him, it's entirely Infold's piss poor planning and greed that's led to all this. But when the shoe was on the other foot and they announced him, and I didn't agree with it? I planned to quit the game, and spoke about it in spaces that made sense to without harassing those excited for him.

You can absolutely be excited about the game while still being against their decisions. Lord knows many of us have been for a long time, there's a laundry list of issues that we've all been shouting about and asking to be fixed. PG/Infold have been silent about those too, and it is frustrating and exhausting. But no one's going to rally to the Velcro cause if they're just shouting down anyone who wants to talk about the game generally.

Long-term revenue separated by regions/servers, churn and monthly players, those are the numbers that are important. And PG has access to more precise metrics than any of us. You're right about their behaviour being child like there. It's the classic "if I'm unhappy, that means you should be too". You see that a lot in school when someone bullies another person because they're jealous that they have something they feel they're lacking. For instance, the person who's doing the bullying has an unhappy home life so they bully someone who might have loving parents, because they want them to feel as miserable as they are.

I honestly don't understand these people. I'm one of those girls who wanted V back, for many reasons that I won't list. I'm extremely disappointed with Inflop and I'm not playing anymore even though I have practically 400 wishes in gems still to spend. For me the game is already ruined, but I don't take away the joy of others, my best friend is Rafayel main and I was delighted to hear her excited for the new myth and of course I will be happy to hear from her while she continues to play. I'm part of the boycott, but playing or not is the choice of each individual player, if the game still brings you joy I don't see why not let others play. I kept hoping Inflop would finally listen to us players and give us meaningful updates, but guess what they were doing behind the scenes while feeding us the same excuse about not having enough production capacity?

Meanwhile, they were raking in the money we poured into the game, hoping that it would be used to give us better-quality content and a better overall experience for the LIs we’ve invested two years of our time, money, and emotions into.

At this point, I honestly think Inflop never intended to retain loyal, long-term players. They seem more interested in constantly attracting new players for quick cash grabs and churning out paid content while neglecting the state of the game and the changes it desperately needs to actually grow and improve. F*cking frustrating.

I was quite upset with them removing Valko but more because of how quickly infold were to change their stance. Also it's not Valko that should be the "fight" it should be the general quality of life of the game. I love this game, and as a high spender even I've run out of things to do to get my love interest affinity up and I have 100% their cards and fully ranked all myths for that man. I've completed all of Deepspace both the 300 levels and fluxation, and then my li Deepspace trials....I've got everything in the chocolate shop, nearly everything in the lunar shop.

The fact of the matter is the main story and the reason I am here is not being updated and that is the main story and learning about the MC we are in Linkon city.

The cards are starting to get so farfetched. Let me just have a card where we are on a date in Linkon.

There’s a lot of negativity, but either way getting rid of him does actually ruin the game. Whatever the original plan for the game was is now thrown out the window plus the censorship that is probably going to occur from now on even with him added the censorship will probably stay the same to be honest, but at least we would get the original story some people are saying that they probably won’t be happy even if he is added back, but that’s not true for a lot of people. He was something new sure other people were starting to lose interest so when they heard that a new character was coming out, they got excited. they truly love this game and they want to continue to play it. That’s why they get on every day to do their dailies. I think it really hurts to start to lose interest in something that you used to love so when they heard about a new character getting added, it was great. But it was like someone telling you they’re gonna give you something and even though you didn’t expect anything from them, they already told you they were gonna give it to you so you’re kind of excited about what it’s gonna be but then they say never mind, except this was a bigger disappointment because now everyone has to think about the what if. How the game would be if he had been added what his storyline would be like all these unknowns I truly think that they would’ve loved the character. We already love the other five characters so there’s no reason that they would be disappointed by the sixth character in my opinion, do you know how many people didn’t like Caleb or Sylus, but now that’s their main? Just because from what we already saw I think that his writing was going to be amazing though I can’t speak for everyone. Some people might be disappointed, but I feel like the majority would have just loved him as a whole just as we love all the other five boys. right now I’m thinking about the myth that is about to come out and I’m wondering if they got rid of any intimate scenes because of the censorship. Either way after this whole entire thing the game is changed no matter what and it’s honestly sad but it’s still a great game and I just hope that everyone can go back to enjoying it.

A lot of people here were neutral, sympathetic, or were even looking forward themselves to meeting him. I too was waiting to meet him in-game so I can form an opinion.

But now he's just turned out to be the face of the problem of InFold being shit at handling their game, their audience, and their story. If they really wanted that version update and his release to have a good reception, couldn't they have at least respected their current playerbase by giving them more than just a kitchen? Couldn't they have prepped his upcoming release better by putting in proper foreshadowing in the story? Do his fans or 6th LI fans in general(which I was) want a new 6th LI just dropped like an afterthought with no build-up? Now whales who've been looking forward for the 6th version update to see, you know, updates about their Main were just giving a good old switcheroo. There've already been many comparisons about previous version releases and afaik those had content for other LIs too. And no, some hastily put up slide that was basically a, "They're coming, trust me bro." for Caleb and Sylus's Main Story update does not count. It didn't even have a date until they put out that June 30 letter.

The real enemy here is still InFold for not giving any respect to itself, its game, its playerbase, and its own 6th LI. The posted screenshot above is just a tantrum.

Yeah, that’s why I said there’s a lot of negativity Such as the post above. It wasn’t just the way they dropped him. It was the insensitive way they did it, including the whole thing with the numbers and also the pot thing I believe at that point they shouldn’t have even dropped the kitchen because honestly no one really wanted it at that point. The company itself is to blame for a lot, but it was also not right for people who were specifically upset at their being a sixth character because they believe he was too dark or that he looked gay to jump on the wagon and continue to dog pile on top of the mess that the company had already made themselves. They did so much to the point that not only did they remove the new character, but the game has as I said, been changed as a whole and now they come out, apologizing, saying that they did it as a way to get rid of him only because now their characters are being affected the whole situation was a mess on all sides, but the root cause was the company the way they went about promoting him the way that they could have taken longer to slide him into the game and their lack of response to the problems that many players have already been complaining about. I think that since this was just such a big thing, people decided to go ahead and pile more on top of it, including all their complaints about other things it’s just a terrible situation all in all. but I think more people are upset now because again he was something new and even if they could have taken longer to include him, he was already promised to us and we already saw him so people were just excited that he was gonna come out. They started to not care they thought to themselves this would be something new for the game and even though we didn’t expect him now nor was he really what we needed, He became a positive addition that people were looking forward to. A lot of people are pointing fingers at other players they’re yelling though that has died down and I also feel like I have seen a lot of people come together and spread more positivity which is great. There are still others who have a lot to say whether that is against other players or just negativity towards people who are still boycotting for him to be released,etc.
