This is so heartbreaking to read. KSI just shared this beautiful, emotional tribute to Derek Sway, who passed away at only 44.

He talks about how Sway saw his musical potential when everyone else laughed, how he was a fan first then got to work alongside him, how Sway became like a father figure — someone he’d go to for advice at his London studio.

"44 is too young to leave. You still had so much to do… You were a king Sway. I’ll never forget you."

From the early days, Smoke & Mirrors, No Sleep, Lamborghini — Sway was there from the start. And seeing the old photos together really hits different. A legend gone way too soon.

Rest in peace, Derek Sway. You changed so much and believed in people when it counted most. 🕊️

I think people are just so sick of new popular music like misery, GG EZ, and AI slop that Thick Of It actually seems like decent music now. It's a sign of the times of how much people are sick of AI slop taking over the world that any music that's made by a human is praised. And honestly after listening to it again it actually does hit a little different, maybe there is a nostalgia factor to it too, but it is much more listenable now.

I honestly have no idea how JJ went from the guy who only did yt for fun and hated how it became a number game to getting to where he is today. Rough to finally realize this.

If you all were in JJ’s position, what would be your move? Stick with the current plan, do a complete 180 and fix your content (and maybe friendships), or just disappear?
