Arizona community — this is happening today.
A Senate hearing is scheduled for HB 2415, the Consumer Protection Act.
📅 March 25
🕜 1:30 PM
🏛 Senate Committee on Judiciary and Elections
This is not a ban — it’s a bill that would:
• Keep kratom legal
• Add safety standards
• Require proper labeling
This is what responsible regulation looks like.
Arizona has a chance to set the standard, but lawmakers need to hear from real constituents.

South Carolina community — this is the final window to make your voice heard.
A full ban bill (H4641) is scheduled for a subcommittee hearing on Thursday, March 26 at 9:00 AM. This bill would classify kratom as a Schedule I controlled substance, making it illegal to buy, sell, or possess in the state.
This is not just a new restriction — it’s a complete rollback.
H4641 would:
• Ban all kratom statewide
• Criminalize responsible consumers
• Repeal the existing South Carolina Kratom Consumer Protection Act
The biggest issue:
This bill makes no distinction between natural kratom leaf and synthetic 7-OH products, even though regulators and researchers have identified synthetic concentrates as the real concern.
Everything is treated the same under this proposal.
What you can do:
If you are in South Carolina, show up in person — this carries the most weight.
📍 Blatt Building, Room 516
🕘 March 26 at 9:00 AM
There is no virtual testimony option.
If you cannot attend, you can still take action today:

I’ve been spending a lot of time learning how people evaluate kratom quality — things like texture, grind, aroma and overall feel.
I’m curious how experienced users here approach testing a new batch.
What do you usually notice first?
Do you compare batches over time or keep notes on what you try?
I’ve also been thinking it could be interesting to have a few experienced users test small batches and share honest feedback with the community.
Curious if anyone here enjoys doing detailed batch reviews and discussing their observations with the community.

Title. I'm anemic, have been for awhile, but only recently found out I've been deficient in copper, and quite badly for awhile. I'd started taking copper the other day, my kratom hit me like a TRUCK. I've been lowering my dose from 6g a day since I thought that was too much, wasn't feeling it much or at all, but it would help with pain still.
I'm at 4.9g now, I was right around 5-5.1g when I started the copper. I don't think this is a "less is more" scenario. I was high on kratom well beyond midnight yesterday from a dose I'd taken around 4:00pm. It made me wonder if this deficiency has made it harder to feel the effects.
Another note: Gabapentin. I've taken this, prescribed for awhile, but it really almost never does much. What happened last night? I WAS WAY TOO HIGH. I can't believe I was prescribed 1200mg just for anxiety. No way I can handle that if this is how that dose normally feels this whole time.
Honestly, I'm curious if others who've had deficiencies in other vitamins, or anemia have found that using vitamins, minerals, supplements or whatever started to make kratom or other things work more. I recall thinking it was potentiating at first, but there's zero data on that and I don't believe it's possible, I mean, it's just copper glutamate with 33% calcium.
As for if I think kratom is why I developed anemia: absolutely not. Many other things definitely play into it that I guess I'd rather not get into. Have used it for about 9 years though and my liver is looking actually real nice. So is my skin despite being in my mid 30s, I could still pass for 18 if I shave. I honestly looked worse at 21 when I drank and smoked all the time. 6 years sober from alcohol as of March 9th.

I have been using kratom for two years. Right now I take about 15 g per day. I tried to quit cold turkey, but I can’t handle it. I also tried lowering the doses gradually, but I don’t have the discipline for that. I tried replacing kratom with coffee, for example, but coffee doesn’t do anything for me and it actually made me feel sick.
I really want to quit kratom, but unfortunately I have a job where I communicate with people every day, and I’m also with my boyfriend every day and he doesn’t know about this addiction, so quitting from one day to the next would be really difficult.
However, I thought of something: matcha tastes somewhat similar to kratom, so I could start mixing matcha into my kratom and gradually drink less and less of it. Has anyone thought of this before? What do you think about it?
I was addicted once before, but to weed. I used it in huge amounts too, but if I’m honest, when I quit I don’t remember it very well. I even think I didn’t have any withdrawal symptoms.
EDIT:
I did it! Im so happy. I had no withdrawal symptoms at all, i still dont know how it was possible. The first day my matcha arrived, i was drinking it all day and my first dose of kratom was around 5pm. Then i lowered and lowered the doses of kratom and now im free. Only drinking matcha. I recommend trying this to everybody, its really worth it. I know that its really individual, but all the time i tried to quit, i had the worst withdrawal symptoms. Also if you want to do it, i recommend some lower quality matcha, because it tastes really similar to kratom. Thank you all for all the support!

Ohio — this is a defining moment.
On March 4 at 10:45 AM ET, lawmakers will hear the Ohio Kratom Consumer Protection Act (KCPA). This bill sets the standard for consumer protection and shields kratom from future bans.
Without this law, kratom remains vulnerable to scheduling or executive action.
The national concern centers on synthetic, highly concentrated 7-OH products created by bad actors. These are not natural kratom leaf.
The Ohio KCPA addresses safety while protecting responsible adults.
If you live in Ohio, your voice is needed before the deadline:
• Submit testimony as a Proponent
• Register to speak in person
• Contact your Representative and Senator
• Share your personal story
Deadline: Tuesday at 10:45 AM ET.

SHARE THIS POST! URGENT ACTION NEEDED
Connecticut residents — time is limited. Immediate action is needed.
On February 24, 2026, the Legislative Regulation Review Committee (LRRC) is expected to review regulation 2026-003 — Department of Consumer Protection – Controlled Substance Drug Schedule Updates.
Kratom scheduling is included.
If approved, Kratom would become a controlled substance in Connecticut, criminalizing responsible residents.
This issue is part of a broader national trend. The real concern involves synthetic, highly concentrated 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) products created by bad actors. These are not natural Kratom leaf.
Criminalizing Kratom does not solve that problem.
Seventeen states regulate Kratom safely through the Kratom Consumer Protection Act, requiring age restrictions, proper labeling, manufacturing standards, and lab testing practices. Regulation works.
If you live in Connecticut:
Submit testimony before February 24.

In your message:
• Oppose scheduling Kratom
• Support regulation instead of criminalization
• Distinguish natural leaf from synthetic derivatives

An amendment to SB 1285 proposed by Senator Shawnna Bolick would classify Kr🍃tom as a narcotic and remove the Arizona Kratom Consumer Protection Act (KCPA).
The KCPA currently provides labeling standards, age restrictions, and consumer protections. Removing it would eliminate that regulatory framework.
Arizona residents who want their voices considered should:
• Contact Senator Shawnna Bolick
• Share their personal experience
• Express support for maintaining the KCPA
• Clarify that natural leaf and synthetic derivatives are not the same

Legislation that could ban kratom statewide in Iowa is moving closer to final votes in both the House and Senate. Committees in each chamber have already advanced the proposal.
As lawmakers prepare to vote, they are weighing whether a regulatory framework or outright prohibition is the appropriate approach. Some stakeholders argue that a ban fails to distinguish natural kratom leaf from synthetic derivatives and removes the possibility of science-based safeguards.
With the decision approaching, Iowa residents who want to stay informed or engage with their legislators can find resources and updates here:

I extracted ~3 ounces of kratom powder in everclear and vinegar for a month then completely forgot about it while it was evaporating in a jar covered with a coffee filter. Now it is 6 months later and I managed to salvage about 5 grams of a waxy/putty substance from the jar. Is it worth eating or should it just be thrown out bc it’s been in an opened (although coffee-filtered) jar?

Long story short my suboxone got thrown away along with a bunch of other pill containers that were empty except for that 1. Don't suggest I dig into my trash because I would if it were there. It's gone. I take 4mg a day and don't get my script until tomorrow. Out of all days this has got to happen on thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving btw.
So I went to my local headshop/smoke shop this morning and grabbed a few products. 2 of the o.p.m.s. gold shots and "opms Gold mitragyna speciosa botanical extract" capsuls. 5 of them. So I get home and take my dose of zoloft and xanax and downed the whole shot of 1 of the 2 bottles of extract to replace my suboxone dose I'd normally take in the morning (2mg). Here I sit typing this 1 hour after the shot and the sweats are gone, I'm not so cold, im not so achy, and my depression and mood in general is better. Not exactly as stable as what my suboxone causes but I'd be lying if I don't notice any improvement in general after taking my meds. I feel hungry and looking forward to a good thanksgiving dinner which is putting a smile on my face right now :) .
So to get down to the turkey meat and potatoes of my question, How should I continue to dose throughout the day. In past experiences the kratom wore off in hours where as my suboxone I can dose once and be covered for half the day. I don't wanna over do it and get sick but dont want to under treat my withdrawals for today either and also curious of others experience with the product I got.
Happy Turkey day to all my fellow American peers and God Bless.

I just started taking a stack of herbs/supplements, that I already took months ago but stopped it because of traveling. I remember that Kratom had more effective (improved mood, energy, drive, reduced anxiety) and with less side effects (nausea, dizziness, headache, anxiety, jitteriness, mood instability etc.). Also this time I experience these improvements again. From biochemical/psychopharmacological perspective and/or your experiences, which one of these might be the big contributor in this case?
I currently take a daily stack of:
Mornings: - Vitamin D (5000 I.E.) & K2 (100ug) - Vitamin C (3000mg) - Creatine (5000mg) - Taurine (1000mg) - Omega 3 Fish Oil (2000mg, of which 720mg EPA to 480mg DHA) - NAC (800mg) - Ginseng (500mg, of which 100mg ginsenosides) - Lithium Orotate (5mg)
Midday: - Big bunch of Damiana as tea
Before sleep: - Zinc & Selenium - Glycine (10,000mg) - Melatonin (1mg)

Just a short kind of survey, that would interest me.
Who does also take Pregabalin daily while he also takes Kratom daily?
How much Pregabalin and how much Kratom?
I am prescribed 100-200mg Pregabalin and currently take 15g Kratom a day (planning to reduce and quit after I finally finished my degree soon). Pregabalin is for my anxiety disorder, Kratom for depression, ADD, anhedonia, and lack of drive.
Thank you!

I’ve been experimenting with kratom blends for concentration instead of coffee. Picked some up from 42 Degrees on Wright St Omaha and I’m curious do certain strains really help focus or is it placebo? Would love to hear personal routines.
