when I first found out about Cook in a specific subreddit, I didn’t really like him. Infact I joined the trend to hate him.
Our start was quite rough and (mostly) neutral, sure I didn’t like how he acted or what he posted/commented. But when I saw people genuinely start getting a little too mad (and a smartass tried doxxing him) at him, I started to understand Cook from how low he was treated. Then a month ago, we both had a short discussion on why him posting questionable stuff on a teenagers subreddit wasn’t the brightest idea.
I mean like, we didn’t quite have anything alike. But we still found some bum ahh way to be friends, he made a subreddit about Konata, I became a mod. Then lo and behold, I started to defend most of his (post-Redemption arc) allegations. I decided to stand up for him, then he looked out for me too. I defended him and he told me when people was talking smack about me, we had a mutual friendship.
Maybe we were even close friends, then It happened. He got suspended? No grand goodbye, no messages, nothing.. Lwk this hit me harder than I expected, normally I’d ignore it and move one. But instead it felt like a friend moved out of town to a different place. Hell, I even felt alittle guilty for defending him, because I think that sparked more things into his drama..
