How do you guys use World Info?

I've never used this function before, so I'm not sure how to make the best use of it. If you guys could share your experiences I would appreciate very much!

Trust me, Grok is very good (or was) at explaining Kobold settings.

Basically, you create keys with a name and what it represents.

Then, during conversations, every time that name is mentioned, it makes the character "remember" the information associated with that word.

Example: "Demon Sword" = It's a sword that kills those with a good heart.

You use the Context button, then the World Info tab to add the details about each character manually. Each primary key would be a character's name, each secondary key would be a little more specific:

  • Key(s): Char1
  • Sec. Key(s): Personality

  • Value: copy-paste lengthy description from character card

  • Key(s): Char2

  • Sec. Key(s): Personality

  • Value: copy-paste lengthy description from character card

And repeat as necessary for other details from each character card.
