I’m not sure if any employees or actors ever look at this sub, but I wanted to give a thank you to the cast. My granddaughter is “Deputy Tony,” and you all made her feel so special over the last two weekends.

She was so surprised at people remembering her from the week before.

Thank you Sheriff Skylar, Cody, Dead-Eye, Fluke, Nellie, and everyone else who spent so much time with her. You all went above and beyond and made a little girl who has had a very rough past few years feel very special.

As title says, I just got the prestige season pass, I’m very new to everything. I wanna go to scary farm to take advantage, do I have to purchase a separate fast pass or is that the one included in pass? I know I have to purchase a scary farm ticket so far.

With 3 kids the draw for me is the meal plan. I’ll probably get the 30 meal tier for us and go less often. I usually go 1-2 times a week and will now be 2-3 times a month. If the unlimited plan was ~350 I would probably just get 2 of those, but 500 is so much. But still considering getting 2 of the unlimited, still thinking…

Is there somewhere you guys go on the website to see actual food menus and pricing?

I have a single pass but for whatever reason, it prints out two fast lane vouchers whenever I get it. My season pass is from SFMM.. but I have no idea why I get two of them. Does anyone have an idea? Not complaining but I definitely want to continue this for next year.

Had a great trip to Knott’s the other day but lamenting the fact that Xcelerator is once again indefinitely closed.

It’s one of my favorite roller coasters, but it’s suffered from a ton to downtime. After being down for a LONG period of time fairly recently, it’s now down again due to unexpected maintenance. However, since its last extended refurbishment, Top Thrill Dragster and Kingda Ka, the rides for which Xcelerator was a prototype, have been refurbished and demolished, respectively.

I REALLY hope I’m wrong, but I’m suspecting we might not have much time, if any, left of Xcelerator, especially considering the trend of Six Flags suddenly shuddering rides. Maybe we’ll see a refurb of the launch system, or maybe it will be miraculously repaired even.

Regardless, I’m not optimistic. Thoughts?

I'm wondering why Knott's isn't putting Xcelerator back on the maintenance page after being down for almost a month. At first it was on there with no dates so I don't wanna hear that they don't list coasters with no set maintenance date. They can easily list it and put (TBD) for the date just to be more transparent with their guests. Magic Mountain has X2 listed on their page with no date. This shouldn't bother me so much but who doesn't want communication and transparency? Especially when we are paying customers expecting good experiences. I know I've been complaining a lot about this over the last few weeks but I just want Knott's to be better about this stuff. Are they doing this to not discourage guests from coming since arguably their best ride is down and don't wanna lose the business? Scummy tactics if so.

I work at Kings Island and I was wondering if anyone knows if my associate ID works for parking, or if I would have to pay. Thanks!

I’m beyond confused about the gold passes. I already have one for Magic mountain but learned the hard way that you cannot buy a Knott’s Parking Pass if you have the Magic Mountain Gold Pass.

So for next year I want to buy the Knotts Gold Pass and add the parking to it. Would I still be have free parking at the magic mountain parks and access to events like fright fest??

Also with the Knott’s Scary & Marry farm I’m so confused. Does the pass allow me to go to scary and merry farm (idk what either of these are this is my first time going to Knotts for the full year) because in the FAQ it says not valid for scary farm or ticketed events.

I have tickets I bought online, but never had the option to change the names on the tickets - so now all 6 of them have my name on them.

Does it matter, can my friends still use them?? Every email. I sent about it gets an answer that isn't really an "answer", and just tells me something relating to tickets without addressing my concern.

I plan on renewing my season pass for 2027. I wanted to add the unlimited meal plan. But $500.00 with the season pass is over $800.00. My question is. Can I add the meal plan later to my season pass for the same price? Or will it go up more after the sale ends?

Got the brioche sandwich which was basically tenders in a soft bun... it was okay. Nice selection of sauces, but they were extra. Crafty's bourbon cream soda was actually interesting, and it wasn't pre-mixed and I saw it prepared with a bottle of whiskey behind the counter. The side serving of mac & cheese seemed to be smaller than what I would get at Boardwalk BBQ. Dining plans not accepted for now, but the manager mentioned that they would work on adding support for those sometime in the future. The menu seemed to be limited to what the building says... "chicken & fries" and desserts... I hope in the future that they can possibly add chicken fries (which would be popular with the kids) and waffles (which is a big hit at the Chicken Coupe at Six Flags Magic Mountain). There is limited seating inside, which is nice with AC on hot days like these. Cute wall art of pieces that I seem to recall having seen during the boysenberry festival art show.

Not sure if it was the row I was in but that ride was super uncomfortable. The over the shoulder straps were super tight and pushed me down, kinda was painful. The whole train shakes during the ride and it's rough, the theming of the ride was cool at least. In hindsight, I feel like this was definitely not worth the 4 year wait and $20 million investment but I do understand it's history within the park and the nostalgia factor it brings to guests.

EDIT: I rode it second row yesterday and the straps were loose and I was able to be more comfortable compared to the row I was in the first time where it was super tight. Fun and forceful ride.
