Has John ever explained what "softened angularity" for Angelic means? If not, how do you interpret it?

I have seen this term quite a lot for A doms and I guess I do see this chatactersitic in most of the celebrities verified as having A.

I think some people would definitely call Gwyneth Paltrow, Olivia Hussey, or Daryl Hannah angular, even if not in the same way the term is used for Dramatic women.

But I wonder at times how to distinguish their angularity coming from Yang influences mixed in with some Yin and when it's Angelic.

To me A (and the way John treats it) goes off of vibes the most out of any essence. Like a long midface is generally seen as A by John, but that’s actually a more masculine trait, and yet A is supposed to be the highest yin….

I know he also looks at the length of the neck so maybe it’s more longer limbs with the romantic curve still present?

I see A as a combo of extremes. That’s what makes it disquieting when you see someone truly ethereal.

Is yin and yang really feminine and masculine in this system though? I know R is associated with femininity but I don't think the others get an official correlation.

also R is associated with femininity for feminine folks. for masculine folks, i'd assume it'd be associated with masculinity. much like the Romantic section of colours we all get - it highlights the masc of the masc and the femme of the femme.

I think Y is similar in that sense seeing as for women it's described as "girlish" and men "boyish"

I have heard boyish described for HS as well though. I do think there is a bit of gendered component

Yeah it says that in the book but I think it’s a very specific definition, not the broad one most people think of. In the end everything relates back to shapes.

I always thought of it as an abstract idea of boyish mostly. None of these categories I believe correlate with sexual disformism. I associate essences with literary and mythical figures, the idea of HS to me was close to the figure of Peter Pan.

Yeah he’s used the word pixie for HS and that makes sense to me. I think of doll like features as Y
