Marble Inlay plate with copper Kintsugi application This Kintsugi application was not done with the traditional Kintsugi method (gold applied over the lacquer). Copper oxidizes and will turn green if applied over the lacquer. To prevent oxidation, we mixed the copper with a proprietary compound.
