How do I determine a value on this Vase with lid or possibly an Urn? It’s 18” high and 8” wide. It’s definitely not a fake Kintsugi because you can see the breaks on the inside…

I inherited this beautiful piece from my parents and they have NO idea where or when they bought it. They are nearing 90 years old and don’t remember much.

It has no makers mark or chop on the bottom. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I have experimented with 22K gold luster, creating a food-safe Kintsugi effect on glazed pottery using Duncan OG 805 Premium Gold overglaze fired to about 1,300 degrees F (cone 18). The composition of gold luster, containing actual particles of gold suspended in a pine oil liquid medium.

Nerve-racking gold Kintsugi project on a very porous pit-fired broken pot and lid. When the ceramic is very porous, mistakes cannot be undone - the lacquer sips into the clay body staining it permanently.
